Norma Paez became a CAC (Certified Asbestos Consultant) in 2000 and started her first business doing asbestos, lead and mold inspections.

Asbestos is highly regulated by EPA, OSHA and SCAQMD. Exposure may cause inflammation and DNA damage that can lead to cancer and other diseases. While Lead has some beneficial uses, it can be very toxic to humans and animals causing blood and brain disorders. Exposure to mold may cause health problems such as Allergic Reactions, poisoning by mycotoxins, or fungal infection.
The very first step is to have the asbestos containing construction materials (ACCM) removed. If you don't deal with the asbestos first, there can be major legal and financial consequences. Before you can begin the fire damage restoration process, the first thing you want to do is have an asbestos survey taken to determine if there is any asbestos in the building materials that have been damaged.

I interviewed 14 abatement companies for a recent asbestos removal project that I had, they all came short in a way or another. Cari from Sensitive Environment was very responsive and helpful answering all of my questions, walk me through a "procedure 5" plan and eased my concerns.
The price was great, the work was done fast and clean and they worked with my scheduling needs.
They had a big crew coming in and finished up during two days. Would definitely use them again in the future!
