We love working with children at Shepherd Family Chiropractic. One of Dr. Shepherd's first patients was a 6-week- old baby. This infant suffered from colic and cried constantly from the time he was born, unable to sleep. The family was deeply affected; they were on the verge of placing the child on a regimen of phenobarbital.
Shepherd Family Chiropractic provides the best in cold laser therapy to help patients heal quickly and effectively. This noninvasive and painless healing modality is a type of infrared light therapy. My husband and I are patients of Dr. Shepherd. We both have problems with our spines, pelvises, and knees. Before seeing Dr. Shepherd, I found walking and sitting quite painful (I fell on my tailbone HARD a few years ago). My upper back pain was so bad that sometimes I could not focus on my work (I kept massaging it to relieve the pain; it was tingling and burning and sore).
Dr. Shepherd gave me a full exam to find out what exactly was wrong with me, and after 3 intensive sessions, my upper back, pelvis, and knees have improved so much. Walking and sitting straight

Shepherd Family Chiropractic was my first experience with the Activator Method and I have experienced incredible results. My neck pain became exacerbated while working from home and Dr. Shepherd has completely resolved any issues. The Cold Laser Therapy is also an excellent tool for healing my hip pain associated with a sports injury. I highly recommend this office that has a friendly, welcoming staff!

This is the first time I seek chiropractic help, so I was very nervous about getting adjustments. As an RN, I stay very active and healthy to take care of my body so that I can take care of others, but there are some aches that I knew I needed professional help with to prevent them from becoming injuries. Dr. Shepherd and his staff have made my whole experience not only enjoyable, but they've made sure to explain everything to take care of any fears or concerns I had regarding adjustments.

Dr shepherd and his team are amazing! Especially with my 3 year old son! They played with him while I got adjusted and made it a lot less stressful then it would have been without their help! My son looves Sam, she is so sweet! Aside from that my back pain as been much much less since going regularly, I’m so sad we moved further away but I will probably go once in a while just to have that amazing service for my son!

As someone who has, unfortunately, suffered from several back injuries over a couple of years, I can confidently say that Shepherd Family Chiropractic is the best.
Comparing two nearly-identical injuries, Dr. Shepherd was able to get me back to normal in about 4 months, compared to 10 months with my previous chiropractor. Everyone in the office likes to chat and really makes my whole family feel welcome. He is great with kids and there is a wonderful little kids' area.
It's definitely worth mentioning that I have never had a billing issue with them. Insurance and chiropractors don't seem to get
