We have a lifetime warranty against leaks, loose moldings, and all workmanship. Although stress cracks are rare they will be covered under your warranty up to 30 days from date of install. If you get a windshield replaced you also get a rock chip warranty. This is good for a free rock chip repair up to 6 months from date of install.

We called Ideal auto glass on Monday 1/3/22 after they were recommended by the dealership where we purchased our car. We had looked at other glass repair in the area, but they either asking too much money, or seemed shady for one reason or another. Ideal quoted us a more than reasonable price for the repair. Mario came out today to work on our GLA 250 front windshield. He called before heading to our house for the repair ( great to get a head's up) He timely arrived. Mario was extremely courteous and professional. He completed the job in less than 40 minutes and the car looks great. Upon completion of the job, he provided us with instructions for the use of the car for the next few days. We highly recommend Mario and Ideal Auto Glass.

Carl deserves 6 stars for the job he did on my 2007 Honda. I'm about as particular as they get. He treated my car as it was his.
Update 7-17-2020 - Carl put a windshield in my second vehicle today which is a low mileage 3 year old Honda. Hey this guy does great work. Not a scratch or ding to be found on the car and installation is as good as when I bought the car new. He pays attention to detail and does great work.

First off Carl was outstanding. We had to be to a charity event and my rear windshield got broke while loading items for our silent auction. Carl came out within 2 hours of our call and repaired my window. They vacuumed my vehicle. When carl was.done he came in and made a great donation to our charity. Guy is a saint. One of the best auto glass companies I have ever used. My car had a leaking windshield from a poor install that the previous owner had done. Cost me $600 in electrical damage due to water leak. Quick efficient and fair! Carl came out to me - and did a job no one else said they would do. My Tahoe has rust above the windshield and no one would touch it. He came out , cleaned up what he could and sent pictures with the process. Windshield was installed and all good. Never leaked. I had to put my truck down about a year after the windshield was replaced. Never had a problem! I’d go back for sure!

Staff goes above and beyond! I spoke to Jake and he explained all of my options when I was trying to decide if I should fill the chip or replace the entire windshield. Jake was very helpful and knowledgeable and was able to get me in to replace my windshield the next day. The tech that came to do the job was extremely friendly and went above and beyond the service he was sent out there to do. I had bought new windshield wipers and he put them on for me as well as put back my oil change reminder sticker back on my windshield. He left my car clean and in great condition after he finished the job

I had work done here over five years ago (I no longer live in MSP nor have a car) and they gave me a call yesterday to check in and see if I needed anything. To be honest, I don't remember the windshield replacement I had with them way back when, but I think that is a good thing :)
While I had the gentleman, Jake, on the phone yesterday, I asked if I could pick his brain as I am about to purchase a car. He thoughtfully spent a few minutes helping me think through what type of car I wanted and gave really helpful advice! He was extremely kind and this certainly wasn't part of his job

Replaced windshield on my Jeep Wrangler. All aspects of the service were handled very professionally. Carl owns the business and has been in the auto glass business for several years. He cares about doing the job right and has the knowledge and experience to do it well. Within minutes of my call he connected me with my insurance company (iDeal apparently is a preferred provider for State Farm) and scheduled my appointment. The replacement was exactly on the time schedule he committed to and the glass used was the provided by the OEM. No cheap substitute! Highly recommend this local business owner

I'm very impressed with this company. I called for a broken rear window on my van and they came out to the house the next day and completed the job in under 2hrs. They did a great job cleaning out my van and spent extra time making sure they didn't leave any glass shards in my garage. They were fast, did great work and cleaned up nicely. I'd highly recommend using them.

Carl, the owner is a stand up guy. He came out to replace my cracked windshield and when he was running a few minutes behind schedule , he called to let me know. He takes pride in his work and wants his customers to be happy. His helper was also very nice. Great customer service, honest, and responsive. Would definitely hire them the next time I need a windshield fixed or replaced.

A couple of months ago the owner Carl came way out to fix my wife's windshield that just randomly spiderwebbed one day. He was in and out in a very quick hurry at a fair price. He explained his process and the glass types that he offered. If any type of work like this is required in the future I will absolutely go to them first.

Just had my windshield replaced by Tee. Excellent service, responsive, and convenient. I was able to book an appointment within 2 days after the initial quote and they came to my home. While they were replacing the glass, I was informed that my previous windshield was installed improperly and that's why my defroster never worked. So, iDeal glass has won my trust and I would highly recommend them to anyone. Not only do these guys really know how to complete the job the right way, I had also price shopped around and they were the cheapest around the twin cities.

Like an idiot, I didn't take care of a small crack in my windshield from a runaway stone on the highway. And predictably, that small ding turned into a two foot crack and had me searching for a solution.
I called around the MN area for quotes, and Carl from iDeal got back to me pretty quickly with one of the best prices. The company also had good reviews, so I selected them.
There was a little mix-up with the appointment time (which is why this is a 4 star review), but Carl was apologetic and promised to make things up.

Our insurance company sent us to their preferred glass installer. The wait on OEM glass was 5 days. Carl made a call and had the glass from the dealer the very next day and installed it that same day. I unexpectedly had to leave home where he was coming to install, and he, without complaint, drove to the other location, my child's school, to perform the service. Perfect customer service. Perfect installation.

Was extremely impressed at the flexibility in schedule they have. I had a kink in my schedule and said I couldn't make the agreed time. They said no problem and were able to help me out on a Saturday.
Moreover, the professionalism was great not to mention the price was the best from other glass shops across the Cities I checked out.
