As many times as we have stayed here this last time was disappointing. We asked for a 2nd floor room and when we got there they had all the stairways roped off. We were told that they had a maintenance issue on that floor. We didn't know how to work the TV and when I called the front office for help they told us to give them about 30 minutes because they were headed to get something to eat. By the time they did come we had it figured out. We also saw roaches in the room, the water in the shower was just barely warm. Our room was right next to the ice machine and when we went to get ice it wasn

Stayed for the Mini Marathon. The owner was pleasant during check in. Initially, was placed in a corner room. However, the room had roaches. The owner was nice and placed me in another room. It was better, just had to run the water in the shower for 10 minutes to get hot water. It's a quiet place during the off-peak season

It was so disappointing. No maid service and the room was dingy looking, not clean and smelled musty. We had to buy an air freshener. The shower was awful. There was carpet that was old and nasty. We got up this morning and there were empty beer cans pulled up on the picnic table. I couldn't use the TV because I was not about to put any of my passwords in it. Really! Half of the lights didn't work. No wonder it says "No refunds." Pay more if you have too. Don't stay there.

Guess I should of read the reviews more to know NOT to book this place! 1st there rude and have to many bs rules for being as nasty as they are! I walked into my room and of course the 1st thing I’m checking is the bedding and I move it and 3 bugs come from the bedding. I start looking around fridge was nasty the stove the cabinets the bathroom was gross and the room smelled so bad! The bedding was gross the mattress had pee stains on them. Also looked over in the Conner and there was dead roaches. Never have I ever booked a hotel and it be that gross. Only thing I can kinda say that’s nice

Room was suitable. Best aspect was the pool and very close to the beach. Walking distance. Property has some challenges to improve upon. It’s older property so some items are understandable. My rating is low due to bed bugs in at least one bed in our room. (I advised management and they said it’s not possible but I have at least 25 bites (see pics) personally and 22 on my daughter… they agreed to spray the room for us) The staff was as helpful as possible but it started off a little rocky. They did allow us to hold our luggage after checkout while we awaited our afternoon flight departure

Rooms were not cleaned. Found a pill on the floor near headboard. Dirt on carpet. Shower dirty. Only one towel per person. Had to take used ones to office to get more. Pictures of rooms on web site deceiving they look nothing like that. Retro 60s carpet n furniture and dirty. Owners unfriendly. Will never go back

Booked this place because it looked suitable for our last minute trip to the beach. Got the hotel through booking.com, where nothing was mentioned about the check in page being 25. Called the hotel to confirm this, as we are already $250 down the drain at this point, and they told us it was plastered everywhere. Went to the Royal Inn and Suites website homepage where yet again NOTHING is mentioned. When we tried to cancel, the people were rude and continuously hung up on us, which seems to be a reoccurring issue at this place. Ended up with the first night charge plus a $200 cancellation fee. The manager Lena, if that’s even her real name is very rude. They are charging my 18 year old daughter a cancellation fee for a room she booked a week in advance that she can’t even check into because apparently you have to be 25 to get a room. But she was able to book a room in the first place being 18? I tried to politely take care of this and the lady raised her voice and kept hanging up on me and saying it was our fault. So basically they’re keeping my daughters money for a first night and my daughter won’t even be there. So if you stay there watch out because if you have any issues

This was a great place to stay and it was right across from the ocean. We just had to walk across the street and down to the beach and we had a great time. Our son loved spending time in the pool the week we were there he made friends and enjoyed his time there. It was great. We just had to let our tub drain out because it did get stopped up some but we waited until it went down and the next person took a shower and then we waited. It didn't take long. After we checked out we made sure we told them so they could fix it for the next time someone checked in. But other than that it was a great stay

One of my worst hotel experiences ever.
Check in staff demanded the card that I paid for the reservations on and that person's id. My partner paid for my hotel, but was not traveling with me. I should have taken the offered refund and left at that point.
The room was a generous size, but my door did not lock. The security chain did work… and I felt that was adequate.
The carpet in my room around the bathroom and air conditioner was soaking wet. The carpet was extremely dirty and in poor repair.
The bathroom was so poorly maintained I hated to have to use the toilet. The bath was very old

This place is dirty looks nothing like the pictures ....the manager Lina is the worse she stole my deposit...she said I had to contact I did and they sent me a email stating that they spoke with… Lina and she stated that she couldn’t refund me my deposit because I had stayed there when I have proof I stayed at another hotel...she is a liar when I was waiting to speak to her there was a male inside the office looked like he was complaining about something when he came out I asked him if he had problems with the room too he replied “yes , we have bed bugs !!” This place is

I've been staying here approximately 5/6 times a year on business since 2010. The previous owners were awesome. They were "the customer is always right" kind of people. Clean, decent, very respectful kind of people. They always provided a clean, quiet, safe place to stay. But they sold out to these current owners. I'LL NEVER STAY HERE AGAIN! I pull a trailer with a generator on it for work and wanted to keep it in the front lot overnight for higher visibility and safety. The whole place only had 2 rooms occupied and the lots were empty (off season), if it wasn't so I would never have asked. Yet

As with all the other reviews, this manager should be fired along with the morning lady at desk. the hotel has bugs in rooms, disgusting dirty rooms, rude staff. all beware and stay elsewhere. no idea why wyndham allows this place to trash the super 8 brand name..
