The motel was bad all around. We rented 2 rooms. In both rooms, spots of blood on sheets ( assuming from bed bugs). Food thrown on wall in one room. Both rooms incredibly dirty, from bathrooms to windows to kitchen to beds. Nothing was clean. We requested 2 new rooms. The new rooms had bugs in bed and dried pee I'm guessing on another bed and still just as dirty as the first two. The front staff was incredibly rude to us. No concern or apology. Was told I would have to call their sister hotel (Polynesian) to get back part of the money we paid. The manager refused our refund until they can send

If i could give this hotel 0 stars i would. I received an amazing deal for the room, ocean view for $350 and pictures looked really nice. Well i was highly mistaken. The first day i arrived the room was together clean from what i can see besides minor wear and tear, but there was more to come. After driving 12 hours i wanted to take a shower and relax and i seen a roach crawling from the bathroom. Luckily i had bug spray (for situations like this) and sprayed knowing we are by the beach and down south roaches are very common. Sprayed the whole room and left to do its job. Came back later that night

$105 per night gets you an old worn out beach front hotel. The mattresses are not good, there’s only four plugs in the entire room. Tv and kitchenette are workable. The Pool was nice and seemed fun for the kids. Access to the beach is easy. Parking is rough, overflow across the street is a definite need.

I enjoyed staying here at the Viking motel. The only thing that I was disappointed in was the house cleaning service. The room itself was not the worst that I have ever seen nor was it the best. But when I asked for a vacuum, I had to wait have a day to ask again. Then they brought me not a vacuum but a broom and dustpan to sweep the carpet in my room. I was told to vacuum did not pick up very well. Then later that day of course I saw them using a vacuum and it picked up fine from what I was seeing. Still don't understand why I was brought a broom and dustpan for cleaning our carpet? The front

Awesome beach view for a very cheap price. On the beach. Balcony view. Rooms are not huge but they are fitting for the price. It's not a 5 star hotel but a great cheap place to take a family vacation if you're okay with the atmosphere. It's not upscale. A lot of smoking and drinking. Some people living there. But it did not disappoint.

I give the room itself 2.5 stars. Nice kitchenette with cabinets. I didn't see ANY bugs and the room had plenty of space. The rest of the hotel gets 1 star. The overflowing trash can next to our room gave a foul smell of hot garbage so we didn't hang on the balcony. The swimming pool was decent. There's VERY limited parking spots on the property. You'll have to park across the street. Great location though, right on the beach. Avoid the elevator if possible. The elevator is hot and smell bad. Its extremely filthy. We sprayed the elevator with Lysol to help us and the other guest. When we arrived

Honestly our stay was better than anticipated. These reviews had us praying we wouldn't show up to a roach motel.
Yes, it is one of the older places, so it is not up to date. But it's also a budget stay (in comparison to the other places nearby) so you get what you pay for. There are large families, kids, adults, sand and water everywhere....but it is a beach destination 🤷🏾♀️
Our room was clean, sheets and towels were clean, AC worked and there were no mice or roaches😂 It worked out for us.
