The Bauer family has owned and operated the Bauer Funeral Home in Kittanning since 1947 with three generations of Bauers working in the family business. Our decades of experience allow us to guide you through the funeral process, providing valuable, time-tested advice along the way. Built in 1907 as a private home, this building became a funeral home in 1947 when Amberson C. Bauer purchased it to establish the first Bauer Funeral Home. Modernization of the building has continued over the years but always with the goal of retaining the home's original charm and hospitality.

Extensive remodeling of the existing building was completed in 1994. This provided more spacious rooms, handicapped access and welcoming new decor.
