The name Cartier is synonymous with beautiful objects of quality and style. Founded in Paris in 1847 by Louis-Franois Cartier, the firm known as Cartier quickly became recognized for its exemplary workmanship and taste. As the brand became increasingly well-known, Cartier expanded their empire, opening a London branch in 1902 and a New York branch in 1909.
In 1945, on Manhattan's Madison Avenue, the doors opened to the flagship store of one of America's greatest jewelry manufacturers: David Webb. David Webb is possibly best known for his enamel jewelry of animal themes, where frogs, zebras, giraffes, and other creatures look like they could jump off of the wearer's cuffs or lapels.
Founded in Paris in 1906 by Alfred Van Cleef and his father-in-law Salomon Arpels, Van Cleef & Arpels consistently strives to craft pieces that are treasured throughout the generations, with a focus on innovation in cutting and mounting stones.

Faithful to the spirit of their founders, each piece of Van Cleef & Arpels jewelry is designed to enhance the beauty of its exceptional stones through the development of new styles and settings, appealing to a sophisticated, cosmopolitan clientele.Since its inception, Van Cleef & Arpels has been associated with events that have marked the lives of princely, royal, and imperial families around the world.
Art Deco jewelers captured the energy and excitement of the Jazz Age in their artistic, and often revolutionary, creations. After World War I, the social and political freedoms gained by women helped inspire a total transformation of jewelry and clothing styles, replacing pre-war delicacy and restraint with bold statements of glamour and strong design.

Beyond exceptional service, knowledge, and friendliness. If you ever want to invest in a piece, do it here. I had an accident with the item I bought (completely my fault), and live in another country. Ben Macklowe was all-hand-on-deck in bringing the item to repair from afar, after another jeweller had attempted and deeply damaged it further in the process. All hope was lost before Ben - I cannot recommend their selection or service enough. Will come back many times!
