Hello, Thank you for taking a few moments to get familiar with John's Marine Service. I started my career in Fremont, Nebraska at the age of 18 putting trailers together for the boat dealer in Fremont. Having a great start in the marine engine repair field there, one thing led to another and I found myself moving to Kansas City the spring of 1987 to work at a boat shop in Shawnee, Ks.
Then after 2 years, I went to work for another dealer in Kansas City, MO, where I spent the next 18 years. In the spring of 2007 I made the decision the start my own business. So here I am eight years later with business going good and growing. I have always strived to be as fair as possible, I know boating can be expensive so I am always looking for methods that will keep my customers from spending too much.

The only place that I'll take my boats.
John's marine has been servicing and repairing all my boats for the last 30+ years and they always do me right. John has been gone for some years, but his son, Jimmy has taken over the business... he's modernized, has the latest diagnostic equipment for today's computer-controlled engines, has a huge parts inventory and an even larger knowledge of everything pleasure-boat related. He can even store your boat and/or trailer.
When Jimmy repairs your boat, he water tests every one... that way you both know that the job has fixed the problem
