In 2011, Bob Swords opened Swords Marine Service as for mobile marine repair. But in 2013, he realized that he was out-growing his truck, and he expanded to the current location in Cobbs Creek, Mathews County, Virginia, a 1,200 sq/ft show and parts room, with a 2,400 sq/ft bay shop.
With four marine technicians certified from ABYC, Mercury, Airmar, and more, in combination with Bob's 45 years of experience, the shop has become a very busy hub for marine repair, motor and parts sales, accessories, and more.We take pride in our work to bring our customers quality repairs. We've also remained true to our roots by continuing our mobile repair service in addition to onsite in Mathews.

I had Bobby and his Dad work on my 38Fountain LX with Mercury triple 400R motors and my trailer several times over the the years. Great Guys reasonable bills. Great Service. I would highly recommend them. Exceptional service and professional father and son team. My boat now has a place that will help with all of our needs.

Top Notch place !!! I recently purchased a new trailer from him! Mr. Bob was on his game very helpful and very professional! Very nice went out of his way to contact me via fb messenger and got me straight! Drove a little over 2 hours to get the trailer everything was perfect! Would highly recommend them and there services !!

I was referred to Swords for trailer repair by Deltaville Marina. Because of their respect for Swords, I asked them to do whatever needed to be done. They did, and the bill was $156. They could have charged me ten times that and gotten away with it. Swords is a first-class marine repair service.
