I am absolutely delighted with Dr. Nylander! She is everything a doctor should be - thorough, up-to-date, communicative, and a good listener. She goes beyond that, however, and is a wonderful person as well.

Her staff is awesome too, friendly and helpful, and they clearly like working with her. I have been looking for a good dermatologist for quite some time since my previous doctor retired. I've seen a couple of other competent dermatologists - but she just clicked with me.

If you find it hard to get in, it is because she is quite popular. That's the one downfall of seeing the best

This office is atrocious. Went in for a yearly skin cancer screening with Dr Nylander. When she was looking at my skin I mentioned my current acne prescriptions and skin history since it was my first time seeing her and next thing I know I'm being billed for an office visit for acne instead of preventative care. The horribly rude front desk man named Anderson was unhelpful and worthless at his job. I called to ask what it was classified as to see if there was an error and he told me to call billing and to that I said can you just look at my visit since I've already called. He wouldn

I'm really disappointed, because I wasted my valuable time on this. I'm a businessman and I don't have lots of time to waste, but they did waste my time. I was referred to this clinic and specifically to "Nicola Nylander", they accepted the referral and called me a couple of times, but I was working, I requested them to email me the information and I will answer them, they never emailed me at all. I called them after 2 weeks when I could, and guess what? They asked me "who do you want to make your appointment with?" Well, I said I guess I had a referral for Nicola

Dr Nylander was great - listened and was very thoughtful in her approach. I like her a lot and would recommend her. Unfortunately I took one star off for the front desk staff. Not very customer service oriented.

I absolutely LOVE this woman! I have seen a number of dermas over the years for eczema and all of them just gave me a variety of steroids to try and if it didn't work, prescribe another one.

Dr. Nylander has a special sense and eye for what you might have. She was able to look at me and culture me for staph, as that is often a cause for eczema flare ups. Sure enough, I had the bacteria and she prescribed antibiotics, which after 10 days cleared my skin!

She is very popular and often doesn't take new patients, but call back, get on a wait list, or do whatever you need to do because

I read the response before mine. They are right on. Nylander is just very, very good. A direct, efficient and friendly personality. We discovered her a few years ago. When it comes to annual skin exams and resulting procedures including minor surgery she is tops. She catches things the regular doctor misses. Only one problem. She is popular and hard to get an initial appointment. Both my wife and I trust her more than any other doctor we have ever had.

Dr. Nylander seems awesome, but sadly I'll never know - she's not taking new patients.

Moreover, I had to call three times (all during weekday business hours) in order to speak to someone to make an appointment - nobody ever picked up or called me back. I was finally able to schedule an appointment with another doctor at the practice, but it was for 7 weeks out! I'll be trying somewhere else.

I had my second appointment with Dr. Nylander today, and even though it was almost a three month wait to get in to see her, it was soooo worth it. I had not seen her for a year, and her one suggestion helped my skin so much. She is such a "grass roots" doctor, with a very scientific and medical approach, and she still assumes the role of a respectable physician, there to serve the best interests of the patient. A lot of doctors, especially in dermatology, plastics, and dentistry, have become business gurus, focusing on how to maximize on profit, but she just wants to see her patients

Dr. Nylander is the most brilliant dermatologist on the planet hands down. I've been seeing dermatologist since my first breakout at age16. I started seeing Dr. Nylander when I moved to Seattle over 10 years ago and my skin has never looked better. (People always guess my age by about 10 years younger.) She does not push products and gives you only what will work for your specific problem. If it happens to be something you can buy in the office then she'll recommend it. She even notices things that you might not have thought of. She once gave me advice for a cyst I had on my eyelid;

I got Dr. Nylander's name and information from a co-worker who recommended her. I am really happy with her practice and this particular office. It's right smack in the middle of downtown, so the bus is by far the best way to get to appointments. But every bus line you can imagine goes within a few blocks, so that's easy.

I have never had to wait more than maybe 5 minutes before I was asked to come back to an exam room. The nurses are all really nice. And Dr. Nylander is great. I have only seen her for my eczema. I can't comment on how she handles more cosmetic issues. But she

I'm currently seeing Dr. Nylander for rosacea. So far I've been really pleased. She's a lovely person, and never tries to rush through an appointment. As the previous poster stated, she's very willing to answer any questions or explain things in detail. You do need to plan for parking time when you go for an appointment at the downtown office. You can valet park in the garage attached to the building, or in the garage at Pacific Place.

Dr Nylander cleared up my skin. Joy to the world! That's the short review.

Details: I started seeing Dr Nylander about two years ago when I had it with my acne. I chose her because she took my insurance and I found a couple good reviews. In person I found her to be friendly and warm, not at all cold or aloof. Dr Nylander is also extremely patient: always willing to answer my questions, explain things in detail, and see me through the course of treatment . Plus she's got some cute accent. What I like about her the most is her honesty and her lack of pushiness. Alot of dermatologists
