Services
SouthWest Bicycles has been serving the north valley of Phoenix since 1995. The crew at SWB is a friendly, helpful and knowledgeable bunch that would most likely be lost without cycling in our lives. It is both our hobby and our livelihood - we probably couldn't do anything else. And it doesn't matter the type of bike you have or are interested in, we just want you to love cycling as much as we do.
SouthWest Bicycles is a full service bicycle and repair store that has been providing quality service and repairs since 1995. We work on all makes and models of bikes and do everything from replacing tires and tubes to disc brake bleeds, wheel building and comprehensive overhauls. Quick fixes such as replacing a tube or an easy gear adjustment can oftentimes be completed while you wait or go run an errand.
Bike lights keep getting lighter and smaller while delivering brighter illumination for riding safety. Due to rapidly changing technology, the pricing for high lumen lights has been dramatically dropping. You can ditch your five year old lights, and get a much brighter light today for the same price.
Small Business Saturday is a nationally-recognized day designed to bring awareness to locally-owned businesses and the impact they have on their communities and economy. And it's never been more important than during the pandemic! So many small businesses have struggled the past two years; they need the support of their communities to continue operating.
It is the season of transition that can often frustrate cyclists - and perhaps cause them to abandon their bikes altogether until the summer sun returns. However, with a few changes you can cycle well into the autumn season. The key is knowing what changes to adopt in your clothing, accessories and bike gear.

This is a great bike shop. Full disclosure I have had their mechanics do various repairs on my road and mountain bikes and I have bought accessories through SWB. I have not bought a bike from them yet. Their shop is top notch. Quality work done quickly. The mechanics will actually talk to you and answer questions. I'm an AZ native and have been a customer at bike shops all over town. SWB is well managed, honest, friendly and only does the work you need. I can't recommend this place highly enough.

Back in the days before Covid, when local bike shops were screaming for customers to support them, I stayed loyal to my local bike shop (LBS). Despite the ease of a two click Amazon order at half the price, I would drive to my LBS to buy a mere $7 tube, or whatever. “Amazon cannot fix my bike” I explained to my wife.
That loyalty meant zero. Now that my LBS, SouthWest Bicycles, has more customers than they need, I cannot get a callback on a bike I left there five plus weeks ago for a simple repair. Three bikes bought there. Thousands of loyal dollars spent. Means nothing! How quickly they

This is place to buy a bike. I went to a few bike shops a fewer years with zero knowledge of bicycles looking to get a bike to help get me into shape. Other bike shops were a little pushy or could care less I walked in. Everyone I have dealt at SouthWest Bicycles over the years has been super cool and patient with me. Only dealing with Walmart bikes before the guy had me riding all different kinds of models which had me hooked. I bought a Trek marlin 7 and love it. They check the bike for free every year and replaced a tire of mine a few months ago for a low reasonable cost. This place made buying

This place of business was hands down, the worst experience at a local bike shop! The lady who greeted us was extremely rude! Not sure if it was the color of our skin or if she just didn’t care to be at her job but it was downright horrendous and very unprofessional! While briefly looking at their limited selection, another worker came from the back and told my daughter to “move” out if his way. This is not worth it folks, spend your time and money elsewhere. We ended up spending hundreds of dollars at a much better experience in Phoenix at a bike shop that treated us with the utmost respect
