Excellent, friendly service by an expert. Busy so can’t always help if you’re expecting ting immediate service. No fault of his own but supplies unreliable due to COVID.

My partner took my bike in because my pedals wouldn't come off. He came back raving about how great of a guy the owner Nick is and how helpful he was. I'll be taking all my bikes to this shop for service moving forward. Highly recommended!

Excellent repair and maintenance for bikes, especially vintage bikes

I have a couple of bespoke custom bikes including a tandem. Nick is the only person that works on my bikes. Expert repair and maintenance for a reasonable price.

He is also a very nice guy.

I brought my road bike into Fern Hollow and Nick did a tremendous job overhauling it. Extremely impressed with the quality of work. I've since brought my cross bike to get overhauled and plan to drop my wife's bike off before we take off for the west coast.
I highly recommend his services and I'm excited he moved his business to the Regent Square area, so that I can walk to pick it up.

My neighborhood bike shop and it is great. Exceptional service, with the ability and interest in modifying bikes to fit everyone. 1980s me would have called the shop "gnarly."

The guy working there was super cool and friendly and helpful. Came in there before closing on a Saturday and he pumped up my tires no trouble at all. If I ever have work to do or money to spend I will go here. Really appreciated this place

Pros- convenient location for the east end folks. Nick was really great, he wasn't "bike snobby" to me and super knowledgeable. Fixed what I needed fixed, made an adjustment that I didn't even realize I needed.

Cons- none really, maybe parking, but not too much trouble.

Summary- great having a trustworthy bike guy!

Nick knows what he's doing, and had worked on 3 or 4 of my bikes now over the years. He's most recently done some work I needed done before an e-bike conversion. Also great work, and always satisfied.

In brief:
1. overpriced
2. unprofessional
3. DANGEROUS repairs
4. while trendy shop with cool bikes, if you value your money and your personal safety, please think twice before letting this shop touch your bike.

Seems like things have changed quite a bit here since the older reviews were posted below.

In detail:
I really wanted to like this place - the guy seemed straightforward and I love to support my local bike shop when I can. I've been biking for ~15 years, and while I'm not a mechanic, I am an engineer and I know my way around a bike.

I went with my wife

I did my touristy visit of the local bike shops, and this one was impressive. Lots of hard-to-find commuter and practical accessories, plus some really impressive specialty bikes (beautiful Pashley stuff). Really friendly and down-to-earth.

Excellent service and a great vibe to a beautiful little shop. Needed a new screw for my cleat and the owner was nice enough to let me browse his misc items for free. Found one that worked and bought some chain lube in return. Great place.

This is a great local business in Lawrenceville. I've taken my bike down here for routine maintenance and the guy is very friendly and helped explain anything that I asked. My wife bought her bike from him. We've suggested this place to many people to go to for all of their biking needs.

My family loves this shop! I bought my Public Bike here and even got the sale price that the company offered online. My husband brought his old bike in for a tune up and I just brought in my dads bike for a tune up, as well. We wouldn't keep coming back if we didn't love the service. It's obvious the owner knows what he's doing and he keeps prices fair. I even came in to have him check that I put a child's seat on my bike correctly...I didn't but he fixed it and didn't even charge me. This is our go-to place and will continue to be.

My Fuji road bike was in need of a lot of work. I had seen signs for bicycle repair on Butler Street and sopped in. The shop was small but looked efficient and organized. I met Nick who owns and operates the shop and he was very helpful in explaining what was wrong and how he would fix it. My back wheel was a mess and I could not fix it myself. I was missing ball bearings and parts. I left the bike with him on Friday evening and by Sunday evening, he had repaired the problem and also gave my old bike a much needed tuneup. It was also missing a derailer so he installed a used one that he had lying

How do I love Love Bikes? Let me count the ways:

1. My bill was under $60
2. It is a 5 minute walk from my house.
3. It is a one-man operation. Said man is easy to understand and friendly.
4. My bike tune-up was done in a day.
5. My bill was under $60

Here's the thing. I bought my bike at Performance Bikes. I like them too. But it's a corporate shop and sometimes you get a lil' piece of corporate attitude along with your purchase. That being said, you can also be assured that you're getting quality parts, etc. when you go this route. I also adore Kraynick's. My only

Excellent shop, and quick too. This guy has hooked me up on more than one occasion and didn't charge me for figuring out that I just hooked my wheel up incorrectly. Bike repair guys like him are far and few between, and I appreciate it greatly.

If you need any kind of maintenance on your bike, go here.
