Attention to detail is what makes floral designs unique. I book one event per day; you can be assured your special day will have my full attention. I am passionate about floral design and love the romance of weddings. Every couple is unique and I love the process of helping couples bring their visions to life. Local flower farms are sourced when possible. I often use flowers and greens from my gardens or foraged from local forests to add unique textures and unexpected touches to your wedding bouquet and event flowers.

I am the founder and lead designer at Poppies and Twine. I grew up in coastal Maine in an old farmhouse. I love the raw beauty of the Maine landscape, the relaxed feel, and the authenticity of the people. I now live in Yarmouth with my husband, two little girls, and our dog. I enjoy painting and working in the garden.
How could I ever put into words my complete and utter delight at the beauty of the flowers on my wedding day. We had a fall wedding and I knew I wanted sunflowers but that was about it. I shared with Lesli the colors that I liked and that I was going for a rustic theme. After speaking with her I could tell that she truly has a passion for floral design.

Leslie was outstanding! She did not miss a beat! She is passionate yet flexible. She is also incredible at working with each person's style or theme. If you are looking for someone to inspire you or looking for someone to guide you, She is THE ONE. She provides high-quality flowers and service at an affordable price. The flowers were beyond stunning!!! Her creativity went above and beyond! She is full of ideas and everyone at the wedding commented on how stunning her flower arrangements were. I ordered center pieces from Poppies and Twine for our senior prom. They came out beautiful. With Lesli’s guidance and consultation, the flowers matched our theme perfectly. Leslie was so kind, considerate and helpful. She made some wonderful pieces to make the table pop. Our prom committee was in love with them and was very pleased.

I recently hired Poppies and Twine to do the flowers for a family luncheon that I held. The flowers were exquisite! Lesli was SO easy to work with and she listened closely to exactly what I wanted. I absolutely loved Lesli’s arrangements for our summer wedding. She perfectly captured what I had envisioned and was so much fun to work with. The colors in the bouquets and the unique way each was arranged is what I most loved about her work.
