Dr. Almonte and her staff are incredible! She is the most empathetic psychiatrist that I've dealt with, she is knowledgeable while compassionate, takes time with the patient, always available in case of need. In addition, her office is immaculately clean and makes you feel comfortable. I had a severe condition and after 6 months of seeing her I'm almost back to my normal self.

I just graduated from college where my psychiatrist was located. Therefore, I needed a new one, which was already very hard on me since I had such a good relationship with the one from school. I called this office prior to verify she had all my records so I could get medication. They didn't have my records at all my first visit and only had half on my second visit. I drove over an hour to find this out. My insurance only works in 1 county (the county I bought it in). I had one appointment with this practice ( intro appointment ) and i have been diagnosed w/ ADHD. In order to get the medications I need, I was told I had to visit a neuropsychologist and I had called back and forth from the office and other neuropsychologists every day for about 2 weeks ( its impossible to get an appointment with a hospital specialty without a hospital referral ) First place told me they weren't taking new patients, and I called the practice for another referral and was given the same place I was told that wasn't taking any new patients. There may be many good and kind-hearted Psychiatrists In this world, but Doctor Indhira Almonte is truly exceptional !!! She gave my son all the time he needed to understand his needs. She never rushed us and carefully listened to what we both had to say. She then provided valuable feedback that included immediate action plans. Not only was she extremely knowledgeable, she also had a great bedside manner. She was truly kind and wanted the best for my son.
