Founded by Ben Wachter in 1952, BWA, Inc. pioneered the market for premium cotton flannel, quickly becoming the first company to manufacture apparel exclusively for Private Brands. Our unique relationships with the flannel mills of Portugal dates back to 1955, when Mr. Wachter placed the first fabric order for the US market.

Our Textile Development Office employs highly experienced technical and CAD designers who work closely with each client to develop fabrics, patterns and colors consistent with the uniqueness of each Private Brand.Our textile designers use state-of-the-art technology to translate the latest trends into custom color palettes and patterns that meet the needs of our clients and their customers.

BWA S.A., BWA's manufacturing facility in Diriamba, Nicaragua employs over 1800 people and produces more than 300,000 high quality garments each month, including woven sport shirts, performance knit polos, t shirts, baselayer, fleece tops and bottoms, loungewear and sleepwear. We also manufacture uniforms for the premium end of the security and law enforcement industries.
