It was a good experience until our food was cold and the owner/manager TONY with the gap in his tooth told us to never come back when we asked to not pay for the chicken that was cold. He was rude and disrespectful. I’ve never experienced something like that as a customer. Guess what Tony, take the money you make and get your teeth fixed. We won’t be back :)

My Aunt’s fiancé passed and we flew into the city to put him to rest. Her friend Monk suggested to dine at DeLallo’s to honor her fiancé. We were greeted and seated right away, the food was excellent and the servers were great and prompt. Very clean, beautifully decorated for the season and professional staff. I had the lasagna paired well with a bottle of Ramsey and finished with a delicious death by chocolate slice of cake. I will recommend this restaurant to anyone in the visiting or traveling. You won’t be disappointed. Thanks for the excellent memorable experience.

Had lunch on Thursday - we ate at the bar since there was a wait in the restaurant. The bartender was very friendly but the food was very slow in coming out from the kitchen. Several other customers were also dissatisfied with the timeliness of food coming from the kitchen. Ironically, if they were that backed up in the kitchen I would have expected the food to be really hot when it came out but it was not all that hot (temperature wise) when delivered. Would try it again but so far meh…

Food was excellent as was my waitress Crystal. Unfortunately it was an odd time.
The host who welcomed us asked if he could help us...it was Sunday we had been out for a drive and this was a restaurant we drove to because we were starved First restaurant visit during Covid. We were wearing masks but none of the staff were. There was no signage inviting guests to wear a mask inside. It was odd. We had our meal and close to when we finished a big party was sat right next to us. The party talked loudly about disregarding mask wear (we did jot have ours on) in schools and at doctors offices. We decided

The best way I can think of describing this place is as a good, traditional, Italian-American restaurant. They offer all the classic dishes in a homey atmosphere and all are executed well. We went there with a group of friends and were treated very well by the very attentive staff. Carol was a delight – personable, funny, extremely knowledgeable, and efficient – everything you want from a good server. The support staff of bus boys was a bit overeager (they whisked glasses and plates away … sometimes before we were quite finished!) but were quick to replace them or leave them when we commented

I really enjoy DeLallo products in grocery stores (like their magnificent and addicting minced roasted garlic) for cooking great meals at home, due to their excellent quality. I was unaware of DeLallo having its own restaurant, for 40 years, at that. It can be a bit easy to miss this restaurant near several busy streets and a slew of businesses and shopping centers, but hard to forget once you visit. Wonderful place. I enjoyed a wonderful Manhattan Seafood Chowder. Their salads are just imperial. My entree was Broiled Spots (fish from Virginia) with a luscious lump crab topping. Kudos to the chef
