Our private garden cottage is located in a residential neighborhood in the heart of historic Mendocino. The Cottage is part of the 100+ year old Beggs-Bishop House and carries that special magical character that is so much a part of Mendocino. In keeping with an "old" Mendocino tradition, there is no TV in the Cottage.
For your comfort and the comfort of others, the Cottage is pet and smoking free. Two adults may be accommodated. We believe you will enjoy learning more about the Cottage, your hosts, and the various activities available to you by walking out your door. The organization of our site is very straightforward.

The private Beggs-Bishop Cottage is located on a residential street in one of Mendocino's historic neighborhoods. It's an easy walk to restaurants, live theater, shops, the Art Center, markets and the headlands. You can simply park your car and enjoy village life on foot or bike as we do. Beggs-Bishop House, our home and your cottage, is hidden behind a 6 foot tall hedge which insures privacy in the garden or on your porch.
