One of my favorites! The hummus sandwich is so delicious I could eat it every day. They have AWESOME french fries! I also picked up an order of the kids chicken tenders for my daughters and they loved them!

My wife and I spent a couple of nights in Spring Lake and found this place search for some organic breakfast. WOW!! Great food and drink options, and able to make anything that you want. Their specialty drinks were amazing, especially the coffee. Can't wait to go back!

I really enjoyed the vibe at this spot. I grew up in the area and never would’ve imagined a place with tons of quality vegan and healthy options as a young kid. So glad to see a spot like this exist.
Only downside is some pretty high prices for what you get. The crab cake Benedict cost basically 18.00 with taxes and while they were good, they were also quite small. With that said, everything was very high quality and delicious. I would like to come again and try some other options!

Service was extremely poor. No one grabbed us another bottle of water, it took a good long while to get food, etc. That being said the menu had some great options, especially for gluten free friends so I'd probably end up back here, hopefully to find improved service. It also wasn't very busy so idk what was up n

I believe this location is closed and they moved to Wall. We couldn't find it twice after driving by but we found the Wall address on Google.

Good idea with gluten free options but poor execution on quality of the food. I had my concerns when our order came out in 5 minutes at room temperature.

I love this brunch place!! Super cute and great menu options. Food is great and so is the service. Large drink menu (coffee, tea smoothies). Odd location in wall, but hopefully the point pleasant renovations are done soon!

What an awesome place. The food is phenomenal. we had the grilled cheese WITH NO DAIRY, and it tasted even better than the real thing. Highly recommend it.

I understand times are tough but ordered two eggs Benedict's which were awful. The (ham) was grey & white. Over cooked eggs. Sadly the bread was the best part. Smoothie and counter staff were good.

I've been here twice now. The first time I ordered the eggs Benedict which was $14 and I was quite disappointed. The slice of Canadian bacon was overcooked and small. The side of fruit was also very small. Overall it didn't look very fresh.
The second time I went, I waited 29 minutes for a juice while other juice orders were served to people behind me. I really wanted to like this place, but I have been disappointed twice now unfortunately.

Great spot for breakfast and brunch with plenty of organic vegetarian and gluten free options.

The crab cake sandwich and the seared tuna sandwich are my go-to for brunch. But don't let that fool you -- LUK serves up a mean plate of eggs and breakfast meats if you're looking for more traditional diner fare.

I have tried and tried to like this place over the years. I came for my first visit a few years ago and there was a long hair in my pancakes. I sent them back to the kitchen and would you believe I found yet another long hair! That was about four years ago. I did go back once to eat after that and the food was excellent! Then, I came back again for take out and it was horrible. I had gotten a soup and it had no taste to it at all. The sandwich I got was falling apart and poorly made as well. That was two years ago. I decided they were no good for food since I had more bad experiences than good

What a cute little breakfast lunch joint right near where I live! We went here on a whim to try something new. It exceeded my expectations. The decor is very rustic and earthy! there's even outdoor seating which is nice. Their menu is so healthy and the veggie burger was out of thhis world !!

3 stars because I think this place could be good. We stayed in the area for a few days and ate there a few times. Food is good, great selection, and cool to see so lots of local ingredients.
But we waited about 50 minutes for 2 takeout sandwiches after being told 20 minutes. Kind of annoying. Yes the place was slammed but still, if it's gonna take an hour, just say that.

Cool vibe but it was a mixed bag.

Very good coffee, good with food allergies, and big menu with lots of options.

Unfortunately service was really slow and the food was pretty bland. With it being organic and local etc etc you would think simple dishes that focused on the ingredients would shine... but not so much. Only OK

Try for yourself but it is a mixed bag, maybe with a different order it would have shined.

Great quick take out option. Super healthy menu and everything is multi use or paper. Nice a clean place, not loud. Would love to come back if I lived in the area but a super great find while on vacation.

I was really looking forward to finally eating here ,but sadly I should have gone elsewhere. To start off the parking lot is literally just huge holes filled with water. Normally I wouldn't let this hamper my review but it was really just terrible especially if you are driving a car and not an SUV.
We sat ourselves in what is a nicely decorated little place. But unfortunately our young waitress seemed like she didn't want to be there. I order a the Harissa chicken sandwich on what was supposed to be whole wheat toast. Instead one side was barely toasted and the other side was not toasted

I really, really, REALLY loved my experience at Local Urban Kitchen. For a rainy Monday morning, it sure was busy. We seated ourselves at one of the only empty tables.

I was excited to try the kombucha on tap, so I started with a 9 ounce cup of raspberry Kombucha. I was instantly disappointed I did not order the 16 ounce - loved it.

I ordered a platter with chocolate chip pancakes, scrambled eggs, vegan sausage, and red hash brown potatoes. The scrambled eggs were so fresh and fluffy -vegan sausage was out of this world, and the use of the red potatoes in the hashbrowns made the consistency

I really really wanted to like this place. I'm a vegetarian and am all for healthy, organic, and plant-based items, but the food was not very tasty. I ordered a tofu scramble, potatoes, vegetarian sausage, and pancakes. The tofu scramble didn't have much flavor, the potatoes were bland, and the pancakes tasted gluten free. I don't care for GF food items. I also ordered a peanut butter protein smoothie; it wasn't very sweet. I ordered a cookie butter latte, and it wasn't very flavorful either and needed sugar. The only thing that was worth eating was the sausage.

Fun local restaurant on route 35 with fresh, delicious food. We had a nice lunch outside with water served in canning glasses and fresh lemon. Nice start.

We ordered a luc salad, black bean burger, and ahi tuna sandwich. All were very good and quite different. A nice varied sampling of fresh food.

Great stop for those who are vegan, gluten free or food allergies.

The best organic place I have ever visited. I came to Jenkinson's boardwalk but could not find a place to eat. And Found this which is 1 mile far from the boardwalk. It was fully occupied so after waiting we got a table. The menu looks so delicious I want to order many things but me and my husband stick to two and a coffee. We were served with beautifully presented Poached Egg Plate and scrambled egg burrito.

Poached Egg plate- 5/5
It comes with a 2 Eziekel toast. Avocado, poached eggs, salsa and sprouts salad on top of it. A perfect brunch dish. Loved it, it was very tasty.
