Services
Princeton Medical Institute (PMI) is the headquarters of Global Medical Institutes, LLC, an investigative research organization that has been conducting clinical trials in the areas of psychiatry, neurology, and general medicine since 1989. Our 12,000 square foot facility is staffed with experienced clinical research professionals, including board-certified physicians and registered nurses.
Clinical research involves investigational studies that involve participants that volunteer to receive the trial drug or treatment. Clinical trials involve a collaborative relationship between the researchers and pharmaceutical companies (sponsors) to explore whether a medical strategy, treatment, or device is safe and effective for humans.
You will receive a phone call from your local GMI site. In this phone call you will be asked questions to further determine whether you are a qualified candidate. After the determination is made that you are a good candidate you will be scheduled for a pre-screening visit. This will be your first in-clinic visit.
If you have never participated in a clinical trial before, you likely have a ton of questions. No worries - we're happy to answer any questions or address any concerns that you may have. A clinical trial is a process set up to approve medication that is not yet on the market. Many treatments and medications currently available are the result of past clinical trials.
Princeton Medical Institute is pleased to provide Drug Addiction Treatments at our facility in Princeton NJ. Our Drug Addiction Treatment Program includes the use of the prescription medication Suboxone. This medication is used to treat adults who are addicted to opioids. Suboxone contains a combination of buprenorphine and naloxone.

I wish I could give 0 stars . HORRIBLE FACILITY . They will let you suffer in distress over $$$ and will go 3 days without returning repeated voicemails. Completely unprofessional and unethical . He should be reported & facility shut down .

Terrible place and HUGE lack of professionalism. If I can give this place no stars I would since 1 star is too generous for what this place deserves. Jeff Apter is a terrible doctor and I would save your time and money to go to someone else than him. ANYONE is way better than him. He only cares about taking your money rather than helping you with your problems. Huge disappointment with this place. Not worth going
