High Point supports our clients with mental illness and addiction and sets them on the path to recovery, fulfillment and independence. I am a changed person. I was an introvert. At first it was difficult to share. In time, I knew I had to share. Everyone has a great attitude. It is not intimidating, more like a family.
The Counselors are always in a good mood, no matter what they may be feeling inside or what is going on in the group. They are professional and care about our well-being. They stress the groups are our groups. It is also helpful to be able to voice our opinion about the groups - mostly they should just be left as they are.

We offer comprehensive, structured, non-residential health services provided to adult clients in a day program setting to maximize client's independence and community living skills. High Point strives to provide or arrange services necessary to meet the comprehensive needs of individual clients. High Point Partial Care prides itself in giving the personal touch for each and every client.
Clients will develop a better understanding of what "Addiction" is and how to manage and change the symptoms. Disease Concept, the medical model, will be discussed to help clients make connection that by acknowledging as an illness helps a client look at their stages of addiction, symptoms of their illness and how to successfully manage such symptoms.
This provide a forum with which clients can open up about their grief and feelings of loss to others. The aim is to manage grief-related symptoms that could interfere with the quality of life. Clients are educated on how to use medications properly, how their specific needs are addressed within the mental health program, the different methods of recovery, how to set goals, learn about wellness, and coping with stress.
High Point provides medication assisted treatment for our substance abuse clients who have been addicted to opiates, alcohol or other drugs. The on-site psychiatrist or APN will prescribe Vivitrol injections or Suboxone tablets or strips where appropriate and will have ongoing meetings with clients to manage their medications.

Took weeks to get someone to call me back. We finally get an appointment and go for the intake. After having all paperwork done and signed they decide to refer us to another place saying at this time it's not a good fit. But when called out on there decision by the crisis center they lied and said we must of misunderstood. How does one misunderstand the fact that they referred us elsewhere. Nice job liars!

Intensive outpatient Rebab for mental health and drug addiction. Good strict place. State funded. You may be here a long time if you are required to complete a program by the state. They are accommodating and provide you with transportation no matter where you live in NJ. The staff is great right now but there is a large turnover rate and the counselors come and go.

HP saved me. I was broken and lost due to addictions and mental instability. After 9.5 months of treatment, willingness and honesty, I want to live my sober life to the fullest. Dr. Blessing recommend I take medications to get me through my tough process and I took them. After following all recommendations, today I'm off my meds, sober, free and happy. Your recovery is up to you, you will get out of it what you put in to it.
