Peak Rehabilitation is a locally owned and operated Physical Therapy clinic located in Floyd, VA, on East Main Street. Our philosophy is to work with your physician and other members of your health care team to optimize your musculoskeletal health. Peak Rehab uses state-of-the-art equipment and hands-on techniques to deliver personalized, high-quality therapy services.

I had been to two therapy groups, and had not gotten any better. This is my third round of therapy, for three different problems, at Peak Rehab and I'm always a lot better afterwards for months or years later. I have been going to Peak Rehab for many years on and off, as I am getting older and have more problems.
Services
At Peak Rehab our therapists have experience treating a variety of conditions and diagnoses. We have listed below some of the conditions we treat frequently. If you have received a diagnosis that you do not see listed below, please contact our office at 540-745-5005 to find out if this is something we treat.
Many people, both male and female, suffer from urinary leakage (incontinence). For some people this may be a few drops of urine leaking out when coughing, sneezing, or laughing, and for others it may mean large amounts of urinary leakage with or without warning. This is often embarrassing and can be costly if medications and/or pads are purchased frequently.
LSVT BIG is a treatment technique that has been found to be very effective in the management of people with Parkinson's disease. This treatment technique has been scientifically researched for over 20 years, and has been shown to improve balance, walking speed and step length, as well as ability to perform daily activities with improved control and function.
At Peak Rehab Physical Therapy our main focus is to help our patients return to their daily activities and prior functional status in the work place, as well as resume athletic or leisure activities. Our individualized treatment interventions focus on multiple areas of deficits and are developed to meet the specific needs of each patient.
At Peak Rehab we strive to stay up-to-date with current research and information about new treatment techniques. We feel that one of the best ways to do this is to support and maintain membership in our professional organizations. This allows us to support our ever-growing field and have access to journals, newsletters, brochures, patient information, and continuing education classes.
