Everyone who applies for a caregiver position at Corewood Care will undergo a comprehensive consideration and hiring process to gauge their qualifications, skills and overall fit. To shortlist a final list of candidates, all potential caregivers must pass a written skills demonstration test. We will then use the Caregiver Quality Assurance (CQA) format to gauge the psychological, personality, and behavioral aptitude of prospective caregivers.

Mary is an incredible and caring individual who founded Corewood out of compassion, truth, and sincerity. Corewood is different than any homecare (or facility for that matter) I have ever known to date. Corewood is a good place to work. I worked with them for almost two years now. I have worked with different agencies but Corewood is amazing. The Director is super supportive and very nice.she goes above and beyond for staffs and clients. The office staffs are very helpful and they make you part of a big team. What a wonderful home care company! Corewood took care of my 93/94 year old father-in-law in his beloved home for more than a year. We began with part time support and progressed to round-the-clock. Every staff member care-giver was super kind, patient, tender and talented. They became like family members themselves. The director, Mary O'Donoghue, is a rare gem. You can reach her any time you have a question, concern or request. She resolves every problem to meet your needs. And when it comes time to go to battle with long term care insurance company, she will be there by your side, proactively

I cannot put to words what Corewood Care did for me as a caregiver. The whole team was amazing. I was a full time nursing student and worked a regular schedule with Corewood. The support from the Directors, Care Managers, Office support, clients and fellow caregivers was honestly nothing i ever thought existed. I am and will always remain part of Corewood. You guys rock!!

I had a wonderful experience with Corewood Homecare. From the first meeting they were attentive, thorough, and responsive to our needs. They took into account all the unique factors that would help my father have the best care and found the perfect persons to aid him. This is a challenge because my dad is not American and has some cultural reservations about being cared for.
