My name is Laurie Davis and I have owned and operated a state licensed family Daycare in Madison, Connecticut for over 30 years. I cannot imagine doing anything else. It has been truly rewarding. Over the years, I have cared for so many children and met so many wonderful families. In fact, some of my past children now have there own children and are coming back to me for care.
I believe for a young child's first experience without family members, a large daycare center can be quite overwhelming. I offer a small group setting, where children can learn their independence, gain confidence and feel secure in a clean, safe, nurturing environment.

Services
I operate a state licensed home daycare that provides care for infants through age five. I am open daily from 7:30 a.m. To 5:30 p.m. My daycare has a private entrance, with play room, kitchen and a separate nap room. A television free environment! A large fenced in play yard with age appropriate play equipment.
I believe a small home day care is the best for little ones. Working together, you and I can establish a very close personal relationship, which can be very beneficial to your babies needs. Remember, most providers really enjoy caring for children given the fact they are opening there homes for child care.
If your child attends everyday, Monday through Friday, no matter if it is for five hours per day or eight hours per day or ten a hours per day, the rate is a flat fee of $220.00 per week. Payable every Monday. That allows you to drop off or pick up your child at any time during 7:30 a.m. and 5:30 p.m.
I will post it as soon as possible. I have known Laurie for about 24 years. I used to babysit her eldest son Billy when I was 12 years old. She had her daycare back then and has always loved children. I now have a family of my own and my son has been in her care since he was able to attend and he's now 3 years old.

I have known Laurie since i was a kid and she took care of my brother so when i found out i was pregnant i called her instantly! Now both my kids go there and love it! She has been a integral part in both my children's lives from learning to take a bottle after nursing, to potty training to educational topics like colors, counting, writing and so so much more. I have also utilized her from a mom stand point- i'm always asking questions and she is always willing to help; its like having your own personal teacher, doctor, social worker, and more-she is a "all kids things" guru!

Laurie is so much more than a daycare provider, she is a teacher! My daughter knows her colors, abc’s, shapes, counting and so much more! We had tried a larger daycare where I felt we were just a number, Laurie cares for my daughter likes she’s one of her own. I’m so grateful to have my daughter under her care. My daughter has been a picky eater and Laurie has worked with me connect our home routines at school, introducing new foods and making mealtime fun and exciting. Laurie cared for our son for 4 years where he not only had a great time playing with friends, but also was fully prepared for kindergarten, having learned his colors, shapes, numbers and letters. We are forever grateful for dedication, compassion and commitment to quality childcare. Laurie has at least a GENERATION of experience as she was also my sister’s daycare provider when we were children. Her experience, reliability, creativity, receptiveness and interpersonal skills with all ages make her a top choice for excellent home-based childcare.

Definitely 5 stars! We couldn't be happier having Laurie care for our son. Not only do I feel so comfortable knowing he is cared for so well, but he is also learning so much! He comes home every day with an art project or learning sheet (ABCs/123s/shapes/etc). That in combination with the music time, outside play and other creative, interactive ideas Laurie has really make it a perfect environment for toddlers.

Laurie Davis Childcare definitely gets 5 stars from me. She cared for all three of my boys and we were with her for 7 years. She always made me feel like my boys were being taken care of by family. She truly cares for the children she is caring for. Laurie is the best! She did a great deal of arts and crafts with the kids, always took them out side and helped them learn their ABC’s. The biggest plus is she is the best darn potty-trainer out there!! I would highly recommend Laurie Davis Child care to any family!
