Gianelli's Early Learning Center, founded in 1972, is owned and directed by the Daughters of Our Lady of the Garden and received its name from their founder, St. Anthony Gianelli. The mission and ministry have remained the same for over 45 years-our commitment to the very young. Every weekday, three and four year olds enter a unique place that is designed just for them.
Here we are dedicated to the education and care of preschool children in a Catholic setting. The most important period of life is not the age of university studies, but from birth to age 6?. Gianelli's Early Learning Center was founded by the Daughters of Our Lady of the Garden in the educational spirit of St. Anthony Gianelli.

Services
Gianelli's Early Learning Center is founded by the Daughters of Our Lady of the Garden in the educational spirit of St. Anthony Gianelli. We believe that respect for God, others and self contributes to a family-like atmosphere. We are committed to creating "lifelong learners" and to nurturing spiritual, emotional, intellectual, and physical growth in a caring and safe environment.
The main goals of the Gianelli's program are to help the child gain a positive self-image and learn to work harmoniously with both peers and adults while building that love of learning. Our curriculum is oriented toward the experience of learning rather than its products. The children learn how to learn and acquire a joy for acquiring knowledge which hopefully will remain with them throughout their educational career.
We thank you for choosing Gianelli's Early Learning Center as your child's first experience of school! On behalf of all the Sisters, lay teachers, aides and staff, we want you to know how pleased we are to have your children with us each day. Hundreds of children have attended Gianelli's and many parents like you choose it as the first school for their children.
To complement the energy and enthusiasm that our children bring into the classroom each day, Gianelli's has a number of events for children and families that everyone can be excited about! In the case of inclement weather, we will follow the procedures and policies that apply to the public and parochial schools in Middletown.
Gianelli's acknowledges that our children are growing in an age where digital media and technology are part of their everyday life. We seek, therefore, to incorporate both technology assisted instruction and technology assisted learning into our program. By giving the children the ability to engage with technology, as an individual learner as well as in a group setting, we hope to teach them how to use this tool effectively.

Our son has only been with Gianelli’s for a few months but the developmental gains he’s made have been tremendous. His language skills, the context of the words he uses and his social skills have all significantly increased over a relatively short time. They provide fresh homemade meals daily using vegetables grown in their own garden. While the idea of a school run by nuns may be an antiquated idea, the tools they use in the classroom are taken from the Montessori model of education and are on par with some of the other schools we explored prior to choosing Gianelli’s. The loving and caring

Gianelli’s is a really wonderful place. My daughter (who can be very stubborn sometimes) loves it there. She has the structure she needs but is also engaged in singing, dancing, role playing, arts and crafts, and free time. Everyone is so nice there. I feel like my daughter is in very good hands. And the fact that they provide lunch and all the snacks makes it so much easier on me. One thing less to worry about.
