Sovereigns of heavy bass, deep house, and genuine downtown performance entertainment, the proprietors mutually known as Solstice Management Group led by Managing Partner Sean Badger aka Senbad, expanded the distinct city presence on the Washington Street block through the investment and development of the Monarch Theatre venue.
In addition to the downstairs capacity, the Monarch Theatre aptitude upstairs holds voluminous high-class ambience for those looking for ritzier lounge amusement and dance space. With aim to provide the valley with jivey break beats, classic hip hop, live acts, fashion events, traveling festivals, and more, this venue is dedicated to the cultivation and production of true industry entertainment.

Services
With our location being in the heart of Downtown Phoenix, we share street level and covered parking with our neighbors the Talking Stick Resort Arena, Chase Field, The Phoenix Convention Center and many other restaurants and businesses. During large events at the high occupancy locations, many parking lots charge higher rates ($5 - $10) during events, but usually from 10 PM on patrons can find free parking as the parking meters expire by then.

I paid for a VIP table with bottle service for a Pride weekend event back in 2020. Then Covid shut everything down and when I reached out about this, I was told the event would be rescheduled. Pride weekend now in 2021 happened and the event was not rescheduled. The so-call owner/general manager is refusing to give me my money back!

Is there a zero star? Thanks to your theaters new mandate for vaccine certification or test 72hours prior rule you lost our business. Not only did y'all hang up on me you aren't able to help me with a refund of my tickets just cuz my beliefs. This isn't our fault we are in this situation. And shame on you for mandating something that's killing us also still. I'm sure y'all won't be in business much longer after this. Deuces marquee.

There’s way too much smoking going on inside this club. Strange enough, it was packed full when my girls and I went Friday night, but most people were just standing around, not dancing. I also ordered water...and it was pink. The music was lit; but the cons I experienced overshadow that small positive.

One of the worst venues. Security was wack and very rude. Especially Ray and the guy he was with. If you hate your job that much, look for a new one. I understand people are drunk and fights sometimes happen, but even Mill and Old town can handle it better than that. They said it was $10 cover charge and my card didn't work so I paid in cash, but my card was later charged $14. The girl taking the cash absolutely lies. It is over packed and crowded. Some of the music is great, but overall one of the worst places I've been to in all of AZ

The 2nd floor had an open mic event for rappers and there were some very talented people! Cover was $10. It feels like a music venue, there's a stage, room for an audience or could be a dance floor, and then a bar in the back.
The 1st floor was a nightclub with hip hop. The cover was also $10. It had a disorganized and impractical layout, and just a terrible use of space all together. They need to redesign it so that you don't have to go through the dance floor to get a drink. The bar should be on the other side or the walk way needs to be between the bar and dance floor. Also the VIP

LADIES, HIGHLY RECOMMEND NOT COMING HERE FOR A CONCERT.
My friend and I came here for the first time to see a Relentless Beats sponsored concert. Long story short, my friend and I ended up leaving early in fear of our safety. Wasted money on this concert...
If anyone at this venue cares to read this, please have security at all points of the venue. We were standing in the 21+ side of the building near the front right by the bar. A fight was about to break out between these 2 guys & security was NO WHERE TO BE FOUND!!! This is scary, especially for women who just came there to enjoy a concert

My first time seeing a show here and also my last,
Everytime I was in the ladies room a male staff member would come in and start screaming at all the women to "hurry the F*@k up" no reason to treat people that way ever!! Seriously awful vibes!!
Way to packed, tickets were obviously oversold.
Got manhandled several times by security literally shoving me out of their way (I'm five foot two and these men were way taller than me)
Only one exit that we were shoved through like cattle after the show was over,
Definitely look for a better venue if you want to see a show and actually

DON'T COME TO ANY CONCERT HERE, IT'S A SCAM.
My friends and I bought VIP tickets for the SAYMYNAME CONCERT on 12/09, which individually were $30 more each than general admission tickets. Arrived and were told by security there was NO VIP that night and would have to stand in gen admission if we wanted to watch the show. We asked a few other staff members if there was a mix up, but no one had any answers, and we were just told to email management the following day. I have sent TWO emails to Monarch's management with NO response. Save your money and don't let them rip you off

Since we were out celebrating our friends 1 year divorce anniversary we hopped in here the other night to check it out ...
It was fairly dark and not so happening on a Friday night. Similar to bar smith, we walked in, checked out the scene, and walked out to try another place.
There was nothing exceptionally fun about being in here. When we were standing near the bar area we heard people complaining about how overly expensive drinks were here, so we didn't even bother to order anything.
Once again - it seemed like an okay/average quality venue. If there was a specific DJ or concert

By far on of the best places I've been to, enjoyed the live music they had. Also lost my phone there and the owner went out of his way to meet me there when they were closed and looked for my phone before I flew back to California.
They gave us amazing service while in the VIP section! Highly recommend anyone to go here!!
Again thank you to the owner for finding my phone !

I come here frequently to see various DJs. Monarch has the best selection of deep house artists in the Valley!! Not a super nice or upscale club, but if the music is right, does it matter?! The space isn't anything special but the sound is great and the bass is deeeep. Monarch is small but most shows aren't packed so it's fine (where my haus heads at?!).
Bar is standard, bathrooms are not great. The VIP area - I'm using the term VIP loosely here - is tiny and unremarkable, just a couple of booths and tables on a platform. You can usually find free parking on the streets close

I've been to Monarch once - for the Kill the Noise DJ set on 22 October 2015. In general, I liked it.
For the true opener the music was loud, but mainly just the bass. While standing 15' from front gate I could talk to my friend next to me at a normal tone. As the second opener they turned it up to a normal club volume.
I didn't think the volume was too loud, but in doing it again I would suggest wearing noise reducers (not ear plugs). These will allow you to still hear your music, and feel it, while cutting off the higher pressures that you don't need. This is simply the
