Aunt Chiladas is not only a beautiful restaurant that makes you feel like you're family but the food is amazing!
I was really impressed with how quickly my meal was prepared and wow, did it look delicious. I barely had time to take in all the gorgeous decor around me before my plate was being delivered. I really enjoyed the staff at this restaurant and how all the elements from the vibrant colors, the pond, the outdoors area, and nice views worked together to complement my meal/ experience.
If you're looking for a scenic Mexican cantina experience this is the place to go.
I'm looking forward

Stopped in for early lunch on Sunday and got to sit on the patio. Until the wind kicked up, it was an incredibly relaxing and beautiful setting. Once it got windy they accommodated moving everyone inside. The staff was very friendly and the food came out quick! This was my first time being there and the food was delicious. I’ll definitely be going back!

Such a good meal! Normally this place is PACKED but my boyfriend and I were able to get in super easily to sit on the beautiful patio. Our server came with a huge bowl overflowing with delicious chips and some mild and hot salsa. Two things I appreciate here - the chips weren’t too salty (which I find a lot) and I love that the salsas were separated since I’m not a huge fan of super spicy food! Drinks and entrees were good, and our server was very pleasant and attentive.

Absolute worst Mexican I've had in my life. The one star reviews are all accurate. Food is just as bland as the service. Salsa was literally canned tomatoes. Food came out greasy yet stale. It also came out quick which tells me they just put it in the microwave. I DO NOT recommend.
I believe the only reason why they're still in business is because the Arizona grand resort and spa owns them and they tell all of their out of town guests to go there.

Came today for lunch w my family; a total of 4 of us. I should preface this w the fact that I was STARVING and ready to eat some good food! We were immediately seated and it was pretty busy for a 2:30pm lunch. However, it kinda went downhill after that. Took about 5 minutes for any server to greet us; when she did, she was polite but far from speedy. We put in drink orders (two sodas, two waters) and that took some time to get. It took even longer to get the chips and salsa, which I thought were pretty bland. The salsa had a "yesterdays salsa" taste to it...a little less than fresh

I'm a bit confused with the seating and wait time here. There are plenty of indoor and outdoor seatings available but the wait time is still 45 minutes. By the time we were seated, there was only 4-5 tables occupied outdoors. The outdoors was only 50% occupied. Perhaps they only allow a certain amount of tables per server and they were understaffed that day? I have no idea. Luckily they serve complimentary chips and salsa so you'll have something to munch on during the wait.
Aunt Chilada's in my opinion is the best option at the Arizona Grand Resort. There's a wide variety

Stopped on our way out of Phoenix for lunch. Their was about 8 of us and the service was awesome. I ordered the Fajitas and it was great. My grandkids had grilled cheese and the waitress even brought out some toys for the kids to occupy their time. She was so awesome and was on top of everything by making sure the food was good, our drinks were refilled besides the many other customers she was serving she did not forget about us. Would definitely recommend.

Me and my daughter came here and had lunch it was a wonderful experience. We sat outside and there was a beautiful duck that kept my daughter entertained while we waiting for out food. The people their were very nice and everyone was friendly. The food was great. I had a taco salad with chicken and it was so huge I couldn't eat it all. And they have a kids menu so my daughter could get something that she would enjoy also. @auntchiladasaz

The staff was incredibly helpful, kind, and awesome at providing great service.
The food was delightful and fully satisfied my craving for #tacotuesday!
Handicapable parking, high chairs, high/low table top seating available, small bar space inside, patio seating is beautiful. Outdoor Villias with catering service available, great for business events, projector screens built into room for pull down use.
Top line drinks available. Margarita specials. Don’t miss this gem tucked into the mountain just off baseline by the south mountain Marriott hotel (down way from frys electronics)!

I went there to celebrate my dad's birthday. It was a last minute selection, which didn't work to our benefit because we had to wait an hour to get a table. Next time, I recommend calling in advance to reserve a table. Once we were seated, we were uncomfortable by how cold our area was. Apparently, the fan above us was linked to the main wiring so that shutting down the fan meant shutting down the area in the back? Whatever the case, they couldn't turn off the fan. We froze while we eat...very uncomfortable.
The positive was the fish tacos were delicious!

Aunt Chilada's is a beautiful atmosphere & we decided to eat outside since the weather was nice. Great service & the food was delicious. Can't go wrong with the Enchiladas de Harina.
Depending on what time of the day you go it can be really busy but that's a testament to how good the food really is. Can't wait to come back with friends & family.

Arrived at Aunt Chilada's hangry with a couple of hangry colleagues/friends. Sadly, there was a long-ish wait but there were many tables open inside and outside. Based on our observations, there just weren't that many servers...causing a longer wait.
But the wait was worth it. We ate our faces off.
Starting with a pile high of chips (that kept getting refilled), salsas and guacamole, we almost filled up on that. But...we kept going. (The spicier, darker salsa is outstanding).
I spied street corn and buzz sawed through that so happily that I was humming and dancing in my seat.

Our group of four was in Tempe for a conference, and as we were driving down Baseline I saw the name "Aunt Chilada's" and started laughing. So, obviously, we had to check it out the next night for dinner. Two members of the group are avid yelpers so we checked the ratings before going and almost skipped it -- SO glad that we didn't skip it. Recent reviews are more positive so perhaps ownership or management has changed, because this place was pretty nice.
We came for happy hour and were seated at a table. We cleared up that in order to get "happy hour" food you have

Good food. The mild salsa is CHUNKY heaven. The chips are nothing special...just a crispy delivery system for great mild salsa!
My Husband usually orders Huevos Rancheros but they don't serve egg dishes here, so he ordered the Sonoran House Salad ($10). It looks like a large enough salad to fill me up but he says he's still hungry! He did NOT add chicken to it. Perhaps with added protein it would be more filling. It comes with a sweet/tart dressing that is EXCELLENT.
I ordered a Chile Rellano a la carte ($5) with extra shredded lettuce. This was a delicious Rellano. Traditionally

The atmosphere is very nice. The chips, salsa, and hot sauce were the highlight of the meal for myself. My wife ordered the pollo fundido. The chicken was tender and very well prepared. My son enjoyed the kid's bean burrito meal. I ordered the green chili burrito enchilada style. It was very disappointing. There was little to no flavor to the meat and the green chili sauce was not great, flavor wise, either. The meat tasted as if were made for a roast beef stew, and it was a dry as well. It could have just been an off day for the chef, but still disappointing.

We were seated as soon as we arrived (no reservation done beforehand), drinks came in within 5mins, followed by their complimentary nachos and salsa, and our food came in less than 10 mins. The plate was hot, the food was a hit! I had the Tacos de pescado , hubby had the Pollo fundido. I loved how the food was full of flavor, but light in the mouth, just the way I like it. My strawberry margarita tasted good, just wish it was a bit stronger. Overall, cozy place, great ambience, amazing food! Thank you Aunt Chilada, I'm definitely coming back!
