Dr. Weber is a graduate of the University of Maine in Orono, Maine and the New England College of Optometry in Boston, Massachusetts. He has been proudly serving the Concord area since 1986. Dr. Weber founded Capital Vision Center about 30 years ago. He always utilized the newest technology to treat and diagnose.
Dr. Baylus was born and raised in Baltimore, Maryland. He attended the University of Maryland and then received his doctorate of Optometry at the New England College of Optometry in Boston, Massachusetts in 1992. Dr. Baylus has been with Capital Vision Center for 20+ years and has been serving the patients in the Concord area with the greatest care and compassion.
Dr. Weber is a board certified Optometrist joining our practice. His schedule is open to help patients of all ages by providing a wide range of optometric services. He practices with the highest licensure and scope of practice for Optometrists in the state of NH. Dr. Weber was born and raised in southern New Hampshire.
The optomap retinal exam is used by our doctors to get an ultra-wide view of the retina (the back of your eye). While eye exams generally include a look at the front of the eye to evaluate health and prescription changes, a thorough screening of the retina is critical to verify that your eye is healthy.

I have been "seen" at Capital Vision Center for over 20 years and wouldn't go anywhere else for my eye care and glasses. The doctors, office staff and opticians have always provided outstanding customer service and personalized attention. I recently had an eye exam and purchased a new pair of glasses and had the excellent care and service I always receive. I would highly recommend Capital Vision Center!!

Went in to look at frames, the optical staff were in another room, I could them speaking to each other. Heard a female employee talking about another customer and calling that customer vulgar names. She can out of a side door and saw me and rolled her eyes. She asked if she could help me. I asked her what frames were included with VSP and she hit her desk with her hands and said that I get money toward a frame. This company used to be awesome, but this year have gone totally downhill., I’ve had nothing but problem , after problem, after problem with them. Either their front ordering staff are not trained correctly, or there is a communication breakdown somewhere. It’s been almost 1 year, 10 months or so with getting the correct contact lenses. Finally after a long time getting them in , 1 month later , an associate calls me & leaves a message that my contacts will be late for another couple of months, & to call them and talk about reorder , or trial lenses., ???.

Capital Vision is great! I had gone there years ago & then had to switch because of my location. Now that I'm working back in Concord I was able to go back. They have enlarged their office & it's beautiful. The staff is friendly & Dr Baylus explains everything so well. I would recommend to anyone needing a great place for vision care!!

After 58 years of dealing with various eye care centers this is the best by far! Relaxed, efficient, no waiting an hour after your scheduled time to get in, great optometrist who makes you feel like a peer (even though I have a Doctorate and he doesn't know it) and overall friendliness, care, informative and precisely letting you know what was, and is, going to be done. Will be going back until I no longer need any eye services!

After years of my husband telling me I should change my eye doctor and go where he goes , I finally made the move and I could not be any happier . When I called I was able to get an appt within weeks to accommodate my crazy schedule . The entire staff made me feel welcome and at ease, it's never easy changing Doctors ! The lady that assisted me in picking glasses was extremely helpful and patient while I proceeded to try on what felt like hundreds of glasses . I know I am more likely post negative reviews, so when I have a great experience, I need to give a shout out. After moving I needed a new eye doctor, and found Capital Vision Center. Definitely the best eye exam I have ever had, with newer integrated equipment that measured my eyes and both pairs of current glasses before the doctor saw me. He was able to show the small difference in my eyes. The best part was the dilated test, which my previous doctors did with a painful bright light. Instead, CVC used a machine to take a picture of the whole interior of my eyes, then the doctor showed me how

Office is easy to find and there is plenty of parking.
Staff is efficient and knowledgeable. Waiting area is clean and spacious. Never have to wait long as the staff is all cross-trained on the various eye equipment, which is all new and contemporary. Time with the eye dr is never rushed. Reports of findings and prescriptions are emailed by the dr without any delays.
I have seen both doctors - one managed my annual eye exam, and the other saw me recently under emergency circumstances.
I left my last eye dr because of inefficiencies with his staff - Capital Vision is a pleasure to work

I had not had an eye exam for a number of years and when I called my local optometrist for an appointment, I was unable to get one until January. I read reviews for Capital Vision Center in Concord, and thought I'd try them out. I quickly was given an appointment, received an email confirmation as well as reminder, and when I arrived early, was taken in to the appointment immediately. The office staff were all terrific, and Dr. Baylus was amazing. I was very nervous as I hadn't been for an exam in so long, and everyone immediately put me at ease. I have been a customer for five years. I just had a very poor experience. If zero stars was an option I would chose it. Just over a year ago I purchased a very expensive pair of Gucci frames from here. I went for an annual exam and my prescription changed. I purchased new frames and lenses and asked if my old frames could be converted into prescription sun glasses. Wendy stated they could, but she recommends I wait to get my new lenses for my eyes to adjust. I asked her to adjust my frame while I was there. She snapped the frame. She never even apologized and basically stated since the lenses

First saw Dr Webber in 2005; went back seven years later as my glasses weren't working as well anymore. No wait in the waiting room, staff was really nice to work with, and didn't have to have my eyes dilated! Dr Webber had several options for me, based on my budget and desires. Hardest part was finding a new pair of frames that I liked -- found my purple frames and they were available a few days later.
Recommend the Capital Vision Center team to everyone :)
