Joseph Raczek grew up in Dunkirk, NY, a small city on Lake Erie near Buffalo. He attended Indiana University in Bloomington, Indiana, where he completed his undergraduate work and earned his O.D. degree in 1980. After leaving the Air Force in early 1986, Dr. Raczek moved to New Hampshire and bought a small optical business after working in it for a few months.
During a complete eye exam, your eye doctor will not only determine your prescription for eyeglasses or contact lenses, but will also check your eyes for common eye diseases, assess how your eyes work together as a team and evaluate your eyes as an indicator of your overall health. A comprehensive eye exam includes a number of tests and procedures to examine and evaluate the health of your eyes and the quality of your vision.

A great place to be: the staff is always incredibly helpful, ensuring that I can get in, be evaluated, discuss frames and lenses, and head on out. Less than 2 weeks later, I can drop in and pick up everything that I ordered.
If any adjustments are needed to glasses frames (say if they're uncomfortable somehow) I can even stop by at any time during open hours to see someone who can help me.
Many optometrists nowadays seem to sacrifice the quality of their business to save money- but not here. The quality of this establishment does not falter.
