Services
Our mission is to provide a truly superior customer experience. As a family business, we understand the importance of relationship building. We have designed our company so that it is accessible, responsive, cheerful and competent with an emphasis on being the most helpful lien processing and V.I.N. verification service to customers in the State of California.
You wait approximately 31 days until the lien clears. If no one claims the vehicle or stops the lien, then you can register the vehicle in your name, sell it or dispose of it some other way. When we receive authorization from DMV, we notify interested parties 20 days before the sale.
A "long" lien is a lien on a more expensive or late model vehicle that is valued at more than $4000 or a vehicle that is stored at a storage facility no matter what the value. If someone is awarded the bid, you must hold the vehicle for 10 days before disposing of it or changing the title.

I have verified the above-mentioned vehicle for correct valuation, license plate and vehicle identification numbers. Lewis Lien Sales will assume no responsibility for illegible or missing information. I appoint Lewis Lien Sales as Power of Attorney and authorize Lewis Lien Sales or its employees to sign on my behalf for the afore-mentioned vehicle or vessel.
When a person repairs, tows or stores a vehicle or vessel and has not been paid by the owner of the vehicle or vessel for services rendered, that person is entitled to a lien against that vehicle or vessel. A lien arises (becomes effective) at the time the registered owner is presented with a written statement of charges for completed work or service.
Say you own an auto repair or mechanic shop. You have done repairs on a vehicle. You billed the owner and asked him to come and pick up his vehicle and pay you for your work. The customer has not come to pick it up and you have not been paid. Your solution is to put an auto lien on the car. You call us.

Please note that the purpose of my review is to speak highly about Lewis Lien Sales versus the company who processed the paperwork when my car was towed. Again, any reference to another lien sale company is exactly that --- any negative comment in this review are NOT for Lewis Lien Sales.
I am a lucky person, that's for sure. Lewis Lien Sales helped me become more wise tonight.
My car was towed by a certain company and they used a certain lien service company. The tow company was not part of Lewis Lien Sales and Lewis Lien Sales did not do any of the paperwork.
The company who handled

Let me start by saying I have been looking high and low for a reasonably priced lien sale company that would be attentive to my needs for a while. And I FOUND THEM!!! Lewis Lien Sales is fantastic! I have been a customer for 3 years now and own an auto body shop in the South Bay area. Not only have they helped me to understand the process better but, they have always made me feel like a priority. They will walk you through the entire lien sale process. If you have any concerns, they are more than willing to put you at ease by answering any questions. I have used the lien sale and vin verification

This review is being written in regard to the mobile VIN verification service:
I had the express pleasure of having my older model vehicle verified by one Ms Jessica Allen. I was so thrilled at the thought of someone coming to my home to save me the trouble of towing my old rusty (but classic) car to the DMV just to have it verified for the purpose of re-entering it into the database for sale.
I had called around to several places and the going rate was anywhere from $80-125+ so I opted for the rock bottom price that was offered by Lewis Lien Sales.
Oh my...
I made an oopsie, and I can own
