Been bringing my bikes (F800STs) to Valdi for well over a decade now. Valdi is knowledgeable, professional, available, and consistently delivers value on time. He's been there when a bike broke down on the freeway. Regular maintenance with Valdi gives me additional piece of mind on every ride. He's tracked down alternative sources for components, saving me substantially. If you have a BMW, take it to Valdi. You will be glad you did.

Called to see if they could look at my chain ( super tight). Fit me in even when they were busy. Adjusted chain and did a once over on the bike ( new older rider, some riding 30 years ago ). Showed me my back brake was at the complete end of life. Took the time to change pads so The bike was safe to ride home and didn’t damage the system. Good price and took the time to make my bike safe. Bought this bike used and learned more from this mechanic in a short time about its history, use, up keep... than from seller or any YouTube videos ( watched a lot of they ). Going back for full service next

Positive: Professionalism, Punctuality, Quality, Value
The left front brake line blew up on my '99 R12C. Valdi suggested we do steel braided for front and back. In the end, I got a fair estimate and good work done, he even replaced low beam bulb that was out and didn't charge me, thanks brother, I'll see you at 24k miles!

I went in for a minor service and Valdi found the bolt for the rear shock mount was broken off inside the swing arm. Most shops would have just told me to replace the swing arm at a cost of $1200. Valdi, being the professional that he is, spent many hours drilling out and reverse tapping the broken bolt thus saving me a lot of money. If you are looking for a true professional who takes pride of his work and provides quality service, go nowhere else but here.

I do a lot of work myself on my R90S therefore I am very picky about the quality of work I expect from a shop. When I was rebuilding my bike, I knew it needed rod bearings and a top-end overhaul at the least. After recommendations from a few fellow Airheads, I put my bike in Valdi's care.
I was not disappointed. The bike didn't leak a drop, has been very reliable over the last 4000 miles, and makes stunning power for its vintage.
Valdi was always communicative about the work, never tried to upsell me on parts or work I didn't need. I spent some money with him, but it was money well spent. Peace

A real expert, super service, very friendly.
I went here for the 12000 mile service on my 2013 R1200GS because i was fed up with the attitude of the shop where i had bought it last year. Valdi & Son were recommended to me by others who's opinion i value, and i was not disappointed.
Valdi went out of his way to get the service done in a day, but it turned out my rear break pads were so far gone they had eaten in to the disc, which needed replacement, and he didn't have one in stock. I needed my bike for a day so he put on a temporary used one, and then i popped by the next day and he fixed it
