Was in a couple of weeks ago and talked to a young guy with longer hair , GREAT !! Gave me some advice on a Sun 3 Wheel Bike I purchased for my Wife a few years ago from you. His advice fixed issue !! Thank You. Came in this week to purchase a tube and asked a question to a short stocky guy with a Bad Attitude !! If you our the owner Please stay away from Customers !! Purchase the Tube never got an answer and will not Return !! Please note , I drove past 3 Bike Shops to spend $$ at your store !!

I loved this bike shop and made it my go to place . Over the past year I have spent just under $1500 there.
However I recently had them change out my derailleur and when I received the old unit it was missing parts. I explained how the old the old unit was installed by them and how I passed three shops to get to them but to no avail. I was told the part was broken when they received it and it might have been compromised by another shop or myself. I love the shop but I will be sure to take photos before any future repairs.

The best spot right near the FSU campus college and winkler back in the middle of shopping center where dominos Pizza and Starbucks is at..well stocked great selection . They have just about everything. Staffs always got covered .even took the time to get me a special nut to go on my tire valve to fill gap where I had to drill my rim to fit a standard size valve..he just got it out of the junk drawer of extra parts laying around and gave it to me no charge..

My order for a new Specialized Sirrus X 4.0 was canceled by Specialized at another bike shop. I then called The Bike Route & they had just received the exact bike the previous day. I paid for it over the phone & they kept it for a month until I could pick it up. Great sales experience. After a couple of weeks I had a problem with the crank set coming loose (very prone to this bike). I returned the bike & the mechanic said he had fixed over 100 bikes with the same problem. They fixed it the same day. Excellent repair experience. I would highly recommend the folks at The Bike Route for both sales

The Bike Route salesperson greeted us at the door and showed us examples of possible electric bikes. I originally had wanted a new electric bicycle and asked husband to come with me. As I was talking to a salesperson, my husband was out testing one in the parking lot. He was impressed and although I had to order my new bike, he was the one who left purchasing the bike, helmet, etc. We have been very happy with our purchases.

Don’t trust bike route with tuning up your mountain bike! They do not know what they are doing and neither do they care about the quality service they give. I have a high end full suspension bike that needed a tune up. When I dropped the bike off, I talked to Bill. Asked if he could give my bike a tune up and fix the dropper seat post that would not stay up. He said he would see what he can do...
I called the next day to see if my bike was done. It wasn’t and he informed me that he was trying to learn how to take the seat post apart and maintenance it!? He needed a tool from his house to take

I bought a Cannondale bike from the Bike Route about 6 years ago and love it! I bike over the Causeway to Sanibel about every other day when I am in Fort Myers. I was getting flat tires about every 3 trips and told them about it. They recommended a thicker but more narrow Goodyear tire and said it would take 3-4 days to install with a tune-up. I was amazed when they called me later in the afternoon and said it was ready! These guys are the best! I couldn't be happier with my bike and their professional service!

Drove 3 hours to get a particular bike only they had. First off the staff is really great, Julie and the 2 other sales guys were really friendly and helped me get the right accessories for my bike. The mechanics were also great, friendly, answered my questions and showed me a couple things about the bike. Great experience overall.
The bike itself, a 2021 Giant Stance 2,is great, the paint is a little, less than spectacular . But overall very happy.

This bike shop is great. Since moving to the area, I have purchased 2 bikes from here. They always have the time to answer your questions and adjust or repair your bike. Recently, I was in the market for an electric bike. Bob was an expert in explaining the differences between various brands, models, horsepower, battery life and maintenance. I choose an EG bike and can't be happier. In fact so far four of my neighbors also went to the Bike Route and purchased EG electric bikes after riding mine.

Have purchased two bikes and had two others refurbished and tuned up. Great shop. Little interest in selling you a bicycle but great interest in pairing you with the bike of your needs and fit. Decent pricing. Staff top notch. There are several shops to pick from in proximity to this one but I would never stray from The Bike Route, Fort Myers.

First of all, there is no comparison between the best department store bike and the worst bike shop bike, which wins hands-down, but the price difference is not as much as you would think and the bike shop bikes are actually serviceable versus basically disposable.
Second, most bike shops sell high quality bikes, the quality of the bikes themselves are not that different from shop to shop. Its the SERVICE that matters!!! I have bought or had the Bike Route assemble at least 7 bikes over the last 15 years and then have had them service them after the fact. They

We first visited here and Danny was so helpful and knowledgeable about all of the bikes!! My husband and I test rode bikes in the parking lot having a ball like kids! Two days later we went back knowing just what bikes we wanted and Eric ( a super young man) helped me design my bike and got hubby all set up! We are very happy with the bikes and the service!!

Well stocked bike store and knowledgeable staff. Took time to explain bikes, equipment, shoes ( clips versus no clips) were very patient and friendly. Will go back for sure ( for husbands bike and spin-class shoes) have a great selection and were very accommodating. If they had more 'girly- hybrids' they would have gotten a 5 from me but don't let that stop you from checking this shop out... you won't be disappointed

I brought my bike here for a tune up - and I was quoted a set price. When I picked my bike up - the receipt showed over $30 what I was initially quoted and I noticed there were all kinds of little extra charges on my receipt, between $3-$10 charges. I was very put off by this and thought it was extremely deceiving. I would have given this one star, but the staff is very knowledgable so I can't totally discredit the place. I just don't appreciate dishonesty. I would have been fine if they had just quoted me the extra $30 initially. It's the fact that I found extra charges on my receipt

Giving Bike Route 5 stars since the service was great and my mom found a bike!
Walked into Bike Route looking for a cruiser for my mom. Bike Route is the only dealer in Ft. Myers who carries Electra bikes. Mom already had in mind what she wanted - a simple cruiser.
Bob was extremely helpful in giving details and specs about all of the bikes. Mom had an Electra cruiser selected and Bob brought out another higher end Townie bike which Mom loved. Now, it was a typical up sell, however, Bob knows his stuff and knew that the women love the Townie since much research was put into them in the pedal
