An acute disease appears suddenly and lasts for a short amount of time. This is different from chronic diseases, which develop gradually and remain for months on end. Some examples include the influenza virus and the common cold. According to the Center of Disease Control, chronic diseases cause 7 out of 10 deaths each year and are responsible for 86 percent of America's health care costs.

Most horrible experience ever. Dr. Sanghvi was very rude, started to raise her voice at me telling me that I am confused about my mother in laws care. After I asked her to stop raising her voice at me and to let me explain why we were there instead of seeing the specialist she referred us to. (They were backed up with appointments and couldn't get us in for another month.) She raised her voice again telling me she couldn't do anything and that we should've gone to the specialist, when all we needed based on a recommendation from the in home care nurse, was to have a quick urine test and a quick

I have seen Dr. Sanghvi for about 5 years, and my late wife did as well. I have always had a great experience here, both with her and her staff. I do not understand the negativity of some of the reviews here ... it is like they are talking about a wholly different place! I have always found Dr. Sanghvi easy to talk to and willing to discuss anything related to my health care.

My experience was excellent at Premier Care, and I will recommend Dr. Sanghvi to friends and family. I completed an annual physical and my care was both conscientious and professional. My appointment started on time and care was prompt throughout my visit, however I never felt rushed. I am particularly happy that this office takes COVID seriously - all precautions are evident, and the doctor and staff handle the virus in a science-driven manner. I was particularly impressed that they display a daily log of doctor and staff temperatures covering the last couple weeks.

She is very professional and to the point, staff is courteous and professional as well.
Update. After the first couple of appointments the care went drastically down hill. I had to fight to get insulin for my diabetes. Doesn't listen to the patient's problems or previous history and quick to send you to specialists.

She was unnecessarily rude. I went in for a physical, and when I told her I wanted to discuss things I had noticed about my health, she rudely told me that she wouldn’t be able to talk about it until I came back for another visit. She rudley told me off after I asked to discuss my concerns, and reluctantly said she would get the nurse to talk to me. She was very unpleasant and I left without being able to talk about my concerns or even finish the physical.

My sister was a patient of hers for about 3 months. The staff was great and very professional. However the visits with the Dr. seemed to be made up reasons to charge the insurance. Regular follow-up to get results instead of just a courtesy phone call, or even just a prescription refill, turned into a doctor visit so she could listen to your heart and read you results in person, just so the insurance could be billed. She was prescribing all kinds of what she called "preventative" medication instead of recommending natural alternatives such as weight loss or change of diet first. The walls are pretty

Went in for the second visit and when I questioned her about some recommendations she became irate and told me to leave. Then she had the audacity to place her stesocope on my back. I told her I don't want to be a billable. Today I found out she billed my medical insurance and I wasn't even examined. Plain fraud. I do not recommend her after all. There appears to be some personality or cultural differences she does not understand.
