Alvarado Podiatry Center
San Diego Podiatrist Dr. Donald Triolo, an American Board of Podiatric Surgery (ABPS) Certified foot surgeon, and the staff of the Alvarado Podiatry Center welcome you. The center located in San Diego California, specializes in cosmetic and reconstructive foot surgery, including procedures that alleviate the pain and deformity of bunions, hammertoes (crooked toes), heel spurs, or other foot conditions.

Women with bunions and crooked toes should not be forced to abandon their heels or pumps in favor of running shoes or sandals. Suffering from foot or ankle pain can permeate all aspects of life, making it difficult to enjoy any activity that requires walking or even standing. If you identify with any of these circumstances, the solution is easier than you think.
Services
Our priority is to ensure you, as a patient feel prepared and ready for any foot surgery, and recover comfortably and quickly. We tend to your every need - whether that involves answering general questions, communicating with the insurance company, or coordinating post operative care. The Alvarado Podiatry Center team shares a positive and helpful attitude that our patients truly appreciate.
Contrary to popular belief, teen bunions are not caused by that pointy, high heel shoe that you wore when you were 20 years old or that ill fitting cowboy boot that you wore for your one day at the rodeo. Bunions are caused by mom and dad. The foot structure that you inherit from your parents creates the biomechanical forces that cause a bunion to form.

No competent follow-up skills and unfortunately his staff was not able to make follow-up appointments based on the Client's schedule? They were all in wonderland!

My very first visit the Dr. was not even in the office yet and yet the staff never told me this ahead of time while I waited for 1/2 hour for him to show. The next visit I was finally going to get a shot for a foot injury got turned around getting there, called to say I would be 5 minutes late called the receptionist NICOLLE to explain and she told me they would try to fit me in...really? I went for a MRI and within one hour of my having it done the mouthy- receptionist( NICOLLE) told me the results over the phone, she said there was nothing wrong..What is wrong with this picture? She has zero

Dr. Triolo and his staff provided excellent service to me today. I was seen and treated promptly. Dr. Triolo explained the cause of my symptoms and the treatment he was performing. It was an entirely pleasant experience.

Dr. Brazinsky was truly amazing. I called the office early morning and I was able to get a same day appointment. Once I met Dr. Brazinsky he immediately made me feel at Eaze. He let me know that did have an ingrown toenail that needed to come out. Though I'm tough I was nervous. He eased my anxiety and let me know everything that was about to come. He said that the needle that would numb my toe would be the worst part. You guys, he was right and it wasn't even that bad. Cools guy wi h a great conversation and he made the process fast, easy and comfortable for me. I would definitely

My daughter had several visits recently with Dr. Triolo due to some issues she was having with her feet. She had to have a surgical procedure. She was absolutely thrilled with him. She said he did a great job and was extremely nice to her each visit. I took my mother to see him a few years ago and we were so impressed with him that when my daughter started having foot problems I knew who she would see.

I've been having some pain in my big toe on the left. My primary care physician at Sharp had me get X-rays done but she didn't see anything on the scan. She recommended I see a podiatrist. The ones at Sharp had appointments 2 months out, so I took my PPO and scheduled an appt with an outside doctor. I checked Yelp and saw the reviews for this place. The majority looked positive so I decided to give it a try.

The nurse there is a rock star, super nice, great customer service. The doctor was nice too. Overall I had a great experience. I would recommend this place.

Great Podiatrist Horrible customer service at the front desk. Nicole at the front desk is so rude that I didn't want to go back. If it wasn't for Nicole's attitude I would have given Him a five star rating. The irony of this is that I told the Doctor about how rude she was to me and He did nothing to rectify the situation. To all the consumer's out there, if you don't want to be treated like a child and verbally abused for no reason than this is NOT the place for you. By the way, please read other reviews, I'm not the only one complaining about Nicole's attitude

Dr. Triolo was phenomenal! And the girls at the front desk are so super friendly! I'm such a scaredy cat when it comes to any type of needles and he made it such a breeze! And the follow through after the procedure is the icing on the cake! I had suffered from an ingrown toenail after a junky pedicure 2 years ago and finally built up the nerve to get it taken care of and Dr. Triolo and his staff made this experience top shelf amazing! 10/10 recommend this place for your foot needs!

I was scheduled to have surgery with Dr Triolo last month but I am so glad I cancelled it. His staff are incompetent although they put up a front to be the sweetest staff ever. I too would give no stars. Nicole was rude and Dr. Triolo sided with his staff prior to listening to my side of the story. I lost his trust as a physician and as a professional he should have not sided with either party. At the end I am happier that I cancelled and the new doctor and staff are very professional, friendly and were able to complete the required documents my employer needed without any issues.

The best experience ever. Was in terrible pain from ingrown hitting nerve. Dr Triolo is the best and most experienced podiatrist I have ever been too. That was 6 months ago. He became my regular Doctor and has since done several procedures to improve nail, ligament, and other issues to greatly improve my quality of life. I appreciate him very much.

I went to see Dr Triolo for a second opinion. I was scheduled to have surgery but I cancellled two days prior to the date. I was truly disappointed with him. I callled his office to get a doctor’s note for my employer but instead I ended up being questioned by Nicole who was not even the person I needed to speak to. She was rude and hang up on me twice. If she had done her job and just taken my message. When the office called me back. Dr. Triolo had already sided with her. I told him that as a professional he should listen to his patient’s side of the story and never side with either party

I went to Alvarado Podiatry Center to see what they could do to fix an old bunion surgery done wrong somewhere else. At first I saw Dr. Brazinsky. He was very nice and explained what the problem was, but told me that although the problem could be rectified with surgery he was unable to perform it, but that dr. Triolo, his partner, could do it. I was given an appointment for 3 weeks later. Today when I went there Dr. Triolo told me immediately that what I needed was too complicated for him to do and suggested yet another surgeon at Mercy Hospital.... It seems to me that I could have been told that

Prior to coming to Dr. Trilio (Alvarado Podiatry office), I was seeing doctor #1 in La Mesa for a minor hammertoe surgery. After the surgery, I was concerned it was not healing correctly and the toe shifted to the left. After 8 months it did not heal. I then went to doctor #2 also in La Mesa and had 2 additional surgeries with him 2 months apart to correct the first one.
The 2nd and 3rd surgeries turn out worse then the 1st. Turned out the doctor performed a processed in the office that fractured the distal phalanx = tip of the toe bone.
He nor 2 other additional drs. located downtown did not

Dr. Triolo removed an ingrown toenail for me last year. I was able to get a next-day appointment and he trimmed it back . Mind you, this toenail had been troubling me for years! The family practice doctor I saw told me I should soak my foot, then push back the skin with toothpicks wrapped in gauze (yikes!) which I think Dr. Triolo was kind of horrified about when I told him, but didn't say so aloud.

So all he said was, "This is how your nail grows and it's always going to grow like that unless we cut this part back." Then he numbed my foot and did it. It was quick.

I have been looking for a foot doctor to treat my 16-year-old daughter. She has had ingrown toenail surgery before and unfortunately needed to have it again. I not only called, but literally visited several doctors offices until I picked Dr. Triolo's office. The staff was incredibly helpful and knowledgeable. They had very positive things to say about the doctor and reassured me that I was in the right place. I was so impressed that even though they unfortunately didn't except the specific private health insurance that we had, I chose their office anyway. The visit went really well, as

I went to see Dr. Triolo for a plantar wart because he came recommended by a friend. He was quick and pleasant and let my friend stay in the room during the procedure. He had a sense of humor as was clear when it came to communicating what the process entails, which was comforting. I'm still recovering from the procedure (done three days ago) but it was about as painless as it could have been. Would definitely recommend to a friend and return myself for any more foot issues.

No Stars If I could! Dr. Triolo seems like a good Dr. However, Nicole in his office is the rudest representative I have ever come across in my entire life. The poor conduct was illogical, since the call was an easy breezy run of the mill question. Extreme rudeness from the moment she picked up the phone. Maybe something was going on outside of the call or she was having a bad day, but it was unprovoked aggression to say the least. I'm still shocked and have to wonder if Dr. Triolo is even aware of or condones this type of misconduct.

Sorry folks, but unless you feel like being verbally

This is my first review of anyone. But I had such a strange experience I just had to tell this.

I went to Dr Triolo to cut my toe nails and look at my orthopedic shoes. He was very nice and he adjusted them by putting in some new padding. Well a couple of weeks go by and I had gotten this large blood blister on the end of my toe.

I went back and wanted him to fix the shoes and he told me it was not the shoes, even though I had no trouble with them until he touch them. My toe sticks up and he said that we could fuse the toe to make it flat. I said no I do not want to do that.

Then he takes

I have had an issue with my foot and toe for 2 1/2 years. I have seen 2 podiatrist and an orthopedic with very little improvement. I had just given up being able to go for walks without pain or even wear any type of heel. And I mean any type of heel; Naturalizer brand 1 inch heel has been out of the question for me :(

Then my foot got worse and it was waking me up with pain. My husband convinced me to try another podiatrist. I searched my insurance website and found Dr. Triolo. He was pretty booked but they offered to book something later and call if anything opened up. Well, they did call

Dr. Donald Triolo treated me for an ingrown nail on my big toe. I was very scared before coming in. The staff was super friendly and made me feel at ease. The doc is funny and made jokes as he checked out my toe. He asked if I wanted to have the procedure done now or think about it. He didn't pressure me at all, very causal and relaxed. I decided to go through with it. He numbed me up really good so I didn't feel anything, he also covered up my toe so I could not see him cutting my ingrown out. It must have taken 15min tops.

The shot to numb me didn't hurt or the procedure
