I'm 55 and on my feet a lot at work. I've never been to a podiatrist until today. Dr. Vallone quickly diagnosed my issues and carefully explained to me what was causing my heel pain. With a five pronged approach (cortisone shot, meds, orthotics, night brace & rest) I'm confident I'll be back on my feet in no time.....no pun intended!

I had an appointment to have orthotics made by Dr Vallone as I have been wearing the same pair since 1993. I found Dr Vallone to be patient, kind, and knowledgeable. He took care to examine my feet and make recommendations for how I can prevent future problems and to make sure we are making the right choice of which orthotics to have made. I only wish I'd come in to his office sooner.

I am shocked by the good reviews for this doctor. If I could give 0 stars, I would. Don't walk, run away from this doctor. Due to Dr. Vallone's negligence and substandard care I have permanent damage to my toe tendon which may cause issues and pain later on. I just finished my third corrective foot surgery because of Dr. Vallone's mistakes.

Dr. Vallone injected a steroid in my left foot/heal to help with the stabbing pain, and the injection itself felt like a very slight bee sting and ever since, my foot has been feeling great!

I am so happy with my bunion removal surgery and all of the interaction with Dr. Vallone and his staff! I'm super nervous about any type of surgery and he was very patient and explained everything. Don't believe all the 5 Star comments that you read, that's what got me into Valone's office. I had the worst experience ever. I went in for ingrown toe nail issue that wasn't as bad as it became. A real nightmare, I wish I would've never left my real Podiatrist, Dr. Benjamin Cullen @ San Diego Podiatry Group. Now, he's a real foot doctor.

**It's been 2 years now since my foot surgeries. I am walking without pain. Sometimes if I'm on my feet too much my toes will ache a bit but i was told this is to be expected with the severe toe problems i had. But i can walk without the pain i had before the surgeries, which was literally excruciating. It feels so good to not be constantly thinking about foot pain. Very liberating. Dr. Vallone removed my rear heel spur (Haglund's deformity). This required disconnecting and reconnecting my Achilles tendon. He was so patient explaining the procedure and recovery, always fully answering all of my numerous questions.

Dr. Vallone is a great surgeon! I had a bunionectomy back in the 80's which was the most painful surgery I've ever had! I must admit I was apprehensive when I scheduled surgery with Dr Vallone. He reassured me everything would be ok. He redid my bunionectomy using his unique technique. I've had virtually no pain! I received exceptional, personal care from him and his staff. I had a bunionectomy done a couple months ago. Dr. Vallone was my second opinion and he made me feel way more comfortable than the first doctor. The first doctor wanted me to pre-consent to a contingency plan if things looked different after he got in there. That sounded sketchy and, frankly, "salesy" to me. My daughter just had her final exam, after Dr Vallone performed a bunionectomy on both feet, and she couldn't be happier! Dr. Valone has been my Podiatrist for about 10 years. He (and his office) are exceptional in the medical profession! And Dr. Valone himself, has such vast knowledge about every ailment one could have (today I mentioned a very rare neurological disease i just was diagnosed with, and immediately he knew multiple important issues regarding it ... absolutely amazing as others seem to not know it, or very very little!).

I am relatively new to the San Diego area and have been struggling with a bad foot for several years - combination of bunions and stress fractures. Very nice staff, including doctor. Dr. Vallone took his time explaining how jacked I was lol jk! No he was great, and I called around to many offices for a consultation and he was half the price, and you would have not even noticed. I am coming back and would recommend him to anyone that's looking for a podiatrist.
