A Better Place Funeral & Cremation

I had recently lost my father and did not get an opportunity to say goodbye, nor did I get the chance to choose the location of services due to unforeseen family circumstances. I can honestly say that I’m grateful for where the services ended up. A Better Place! The staff not only empathized with my situation, but they were so kind and attentive throughout the entire process. Everyone I spoke to was patient, understanding and made me feel like they were there for me through this difficult time losing my father. I don’t think anyone could prepare themself to lose a parent but A Better Place

At this time in I need I was referred to this company to help me with my needs, I called them and the lady that had answered she wasn't very helpful. My grandma had passed at home and the county coroner had to come, I than called this company to do the services, I was distraught that I thought my grandma was in good hands. The 2 transporters that did the transport were very rude, not dressed as if they were right from the bar. The were very rough with picking my grandma up from the bed, one of the guys hit her head on the post. I would than call the funeral home just to be hung up on. It took over

Jennifer was amazing. Understanding. And Sympathetic to my fragile state as I had just lost My Husband so unexpectedly. She helped me with the financial application for cremation assistance, reported his passing to Social Security and went above and beyond in getting me a lock of hair to put into a braid to always have and hold close to my heart. I have referred a few people to A Better Place and don't plan on stopping on referrals anytime soon. THANK YOU JENNIFER, DOLLY AND ALL THE STAFF. You made such a terrible time a little bit easier..

They did a great job taking care of all of the details. I was pleasantly surprised that they took moms fingerprint for the keepsake option. There's no pressure in the cremation process to figure everything out right away. Mom was home with me within a week. I have time to figure out urns and keepsakes. Simple straightforward affordable just like the website advertised.

The staff at A Better Place helped make the sudden passing of my mother Dienna much easier. Dolly was very kind, supportive and helpful getting paperwork, my moms wishes in place and kept in excellent communication during the process.

During this extremely difficult time Leonard was the best. He was patient, kind, answered all of our questions and helped us make the decisions that were right for our family.
