I just want to acknowledge the exceptional service we received from Mrs. Taylor and her staff. I lost my daughter and came into Mrs. Taylor office distraught because of the lack of service being provided by Caldwell-Kirk. In my time of need Mrs Taylor approached my situation with care and control. Despite the situation she brought light to our darkest hours. Planning for the transition of a family or friend can be a roller coaster of experiences emotions. Even with the best plan and preparation.
For years, I had seen the advertisements for Taylor's but experiencing their services from taking possession of a loved one to burial, was amazing.
I was impressed , with the staff and the services. And the loved one looked amazing and the props for the body made it special for the family.

I recently experienced Taylor Mortuary through losing a loved one due to the Covid-19 virus. I must say planing the service for a loved one is never an easy task and to plan during a time where social distancing and mask are a necessity it was very difficult. I had to make sure I took the time to say even through the obstacles, Taylor mortuary did a phenomenal job in maintaining an atmosphere of love, peace, and truly a spirit of praise in the midst of sorrow. Taylor Mortuary gave my mom a beautiful homecoming. They honored her with care and she looked beautiful. The flowers were beautiful. They handled all of our arrangements and the obituary was beautiful and professionally done. I highly recommend them, you won’t be disappointed! The Director and her staff are a class act and I will never forget them neither will you.

When we planned the funeral, it was done in an unbelievably joyful way. It didn't feel like we were planning a funeral. Yet the laughter and joy was also balanced with professionalism and empathy.
They accommodated us to the point where the whole process was extremely easy. They filled in the gaps with their expertise on the process of the funeral as well as showing us how to handle affairs after the funeral.
They completely took away the fear factor of not knowing what to do when your loved one passes away.

I usually don't do bad reviews but I'm making one today. I have been told that Taylor Mortuary was good and the best and they have truly failed my family in the most horrible way they possibly could lack of communication with Taylor Mortuary, they didn't call my family to tell us that the urn we picked out was on backorder, got promised on the day my grandma passed she was going to be handled with care, she did NOT get handled with care. We do not appreciate that we had to use a temporary urn and my grandma was in just a box. I quote from Taylor Mortuary it take 7-10 business it's been a WHOLE

Taylor Funeral Home is the perfect way to send your loved one to their homecoming. The service was amazing! Everyone of the staff members were so welcoming and accommodating as well as professional. Michael and LaQuita are awesome in serving. They do it from their hearts. They were the first of my fellow colleagues in the funeral industry in Denver to call me and my family (2015) when my daughter died and… they were the first at the church for the viewing and LaQuita personally walk me to the casket. There is nothing they wouldn't do to help you serve a family in your funeral home either. They are not selfish, stingy and they are not afraid of their colleagues success. Taylors funeral home is the best. I have gone to the other black funeral homes in Denver and they can't touch what you get from taylors. So when you have a death in your family, please go to Taylors for the best service you can be proud of. I cannot express enough the wonderful service we received from Lequita Taylor and everyone at Taylor Mortuary and Funeral Home. They made all of the arrangements so easy. They were extremely accommodating with all requests and questions for the service. The service itself was stunningly beautiful. Especially the beautiful singing voices of Michael and Lequita. Just stunning! I cannot thank them enough for all they have done for us. I would recommend them 100% wholeheartedly.
