J. Mark Pipkin is a Manager and Funeral Director of Pipkin Braswell Funerals, Cremation and Receptions. Joseph Mark Pipkin was born and raised in Denver, Colorado and has generously provided mortuary services in his native community for more than 35 years.
Mr. Pipkin discovered his God-given gifts and passion for funeral hospitality services as a teenager and obtained an apprenticeship with the Denver-based Trevino Funeral Homes straight out of high school.Mr. Pipkin earned an Associates degree in Business from the University of Colorado at Denver and went on to earn the Valedictorian rank of the graduating class of 1978 from the Dallas Institute of Mortuary Science in Dallas, Texas.

While my family member was not physically at this funeral home, the staff here were absolutely wonderful to help me deal with matters of a family member death in another state; Suranetta especially. She and Tori were very kind to me as I navigated dealing with a death in another state as next of kin. The actual funeral home with my loved one’s body was not helpful at all. From this experience, I have directed my loved ones that if I die in CO, please utilize Pipkin Braswell. Thank you!

I highly recommend! This funeral home went above and beyond for my father’s funeral. Unlike other funeral homes, when we came in they were happy to serve us and we felt nothing but their compassion and understanding about how important my dad was. They made sure to do things quickly as we had a viewing for my dad and they wanted to make sure he looked like himself… and boy did they do a good job. My father looked so peaceful. Other funeral homes forgot our appointment and they were so cold to my mother and me. Both owners, Alvin and Mark are the sweetest, most diligent directors, and the staff

The Service provided was exceptional considering the short amount of time Alvin was working with. We appreciate the fact that he explained the entire process, options we had available as well as being able to answer all of the questions we asked him! One of the hardest things I've ever experienced ....if not THE hardest thing I've ever experienced was loosing my baby sister and seeing the devastating impact her passing had on my family. I worked directly with Damon Morgan and he was there was us hand and hand every step of the way. I hope I never have to work with Pipkin Braswell ever again and I mean that in the kindest way. My mother was alone in Colorado & utterly devastated at the loss of her husband. She went to this funeral home attempting to use them for Cremation Services. Because our family is based in California she didn't want a Denver based ceremony at their facility. She did however want to handle the cremation before traveling home to the family. She provided all the info that the staff member requested(Including her Social Security Number). She even attempted to pay for everything that day. Mr. Braswell has the compassion of an angel. During the preparation of my brother's funeral services, Mr. Braswell shared the quality that anyone should expect during a time of grief. Pipkin Braswell are utter and complete professionals. Outside of being professional, they are caring, personable, and load bearers. Unfortunately, we all require the services of a mortuary at some point in our lives and these are the gentlemen you want to go through this time with. Our family primarily dealt with Mr. Braswell. He was kind, concerned, informational, and honest. He made a very difficult time a little more tolerable. I can't imagine going elsewhere from now on. Loosing a love one is hard, being responsible for helping plan their home going celebration is even harder. In the past 36 months our family has loss 7 family members. The majority of the final services where arranged by the staff at Pipkin Braswell mortuary. Not to take away from the other providers in the area which do a good job as well. I have to say that the staff listens to the needs, and goes above and beyond their call of duty to accommodate the last wishes of the deceased. No matter how far out of the box it may seem they have a way of adding a touch of class to the service they provide
