Our inverter MIG welders, which feature electronic adjustments controlled by a microprocessor, allow you to achieve excellent welding quality thanks to the advanced technologies applied. The microprocessor circuit controls and optimizes arc transfer irrespective of the load variation and of the impedance of the welding cables.
The HTP MIG 130 is an affordable MIG welding package for the do-it-yourselfer. The welder operates on 110 volts and gives you the ability to weld anything from thin sheet metal up to 3/16 steel. The machine features four heat settings, an infinite wire feed adjustment, a 7' MIG welding gun, a 5' ground cable and clamp assembly, along with a 6-1/2' input power cord.

Before I ordered, I called tech support, just to see if a real person answered. They did. I ordered a mig machine, some consumables, and options.
I've called them several times with questions about loaded programs, setups, etc. They always took the time to get me straightened out. I have talked to at least three different techs, all were great.
I screwed up the mig gun by trying to take parts off to clean, unscrewing in the wrong direction, and breaking it. They sent me the parts for free to get me up and running. I also have had my email questions answered on Saturday and Sunday.

I looked forward to committing and working for this company. When I arrived, I wasn’t given a single thorough input of the company. The manager Gabe pointed out two pieces of welding equipment on the top shelf of his desk, proceeded to talk about welding classes that were free if you worked there, and then never contacted me. There is a total of maybe 6 employees and they were all in a toxic mood when I arrived. Don’t waste your time with this place. Elk Grove Village location.

Great customer service, nice people to do business with. I get all my welding gases and cylinders here as they are easy to deal with, and treat an average Joe just as they would anyone. Much unlike my dealings with Airgas. They have tons of welding equipment, more than any other supplier. We are lucky to have such a great supplier local in our area.

The group of people working at HTP were beyond nice and had a solid knowledge base.
I have been in the search for a good welder and had tried talking with a couple local welding shops first (think large chains). The right person wasn't available to help with sales both times at one. The other only wanted part numbers in order to place an order and wasn't able to recommend much that a beginner would need.
At HTP they were able to consider my needs and recommend the right equipment. And at the end of the day they took care of me as a customer and I gave them more business than I may have. I look
