Acorn Child Care Center
Acorn Child Care Center is family owned and operated. Juliana opened the center in the fall of 1991. Her two daughters Hillary and Carly both attended college and majored in Early Childhood and Psychology. They are both on site daily, usually working in a classroom. Carly is usually in infant/toddlers and Hillary is in preschool.

We offer child care for ages 2 months to 8 years with programs for infants, toddlers, preschool and pre-K children. We provide age appropriate curriculum which supports individual growth in the areas of social, emotions, self-help, language, intellectual and physical development as well as independence, competence, originality, and self-expression.
Services
Here at Acorn each child is regarded as a unique individual. Great care is taken to provide opportunities for each child to grow at their own pace socially, emotionally, intellectually and physically. We believe in active learning through hands on experience and provide lots of time to laugh, play and form friendships.
We take pride in our team of professional early childhood teachers. They are certified by The Massachusetts Department of Early Education and Care as well as trained in CPR & First Aid. We support ongoing training in the field with various workshops as well as college courses. Our creative and compassionate teachers work together to ensure that your child's time here at Acorn is a pleasant and enjoyable experience.
We are conveniently located on Route 110 on the Westford/Littleton line. Just seconds from exit 31 off of Route 495. Our center is spacious and clean with classrooms that are fully equipped with age appropriate learning materials for creative playing and learning. We also offer large indoor and outdoor play spaces that support lots of fun gross motor activities.
We ask that you return these forms to the Director prior to your child's first day of care. We offer flexible schedules with at least two days a week and a minimum of four hours a day. We have found that over the years it is in the best interest of the child, so we are able to get to know their likes and dislikes and basic temperament.

This was a very disappointing situation. Our family called this child care center, set up a zoom meeting, and was told to send an email with the dates we would need child care. Everything was sent as directed over 3 weeks ago. We never heard anything back. We called and left a message 4x, without a response. I was finally able to speak with someone a week ago, who stated they had everything figured out and would send me an email by the end of the day (on Friday), that way we could pay the fee to hold a spot. We waited again for another week, leaving two more messages. Still nothing. Finally today

Not a good daycare, removed my 4 month old after 2( really attend 1 full) months of being there. I strongly believe that it is not a good daycare. it is quiet still at 245 as the whole 1st floor is still sleeping and lights are off. even during busy times the toddler rooms are quiet, which indicates not a lot of fun activities for CHILDREN.they dont notify parents when RSV was present in building. they staff are not warm inviting, never see them smiling. they expect they babies to over eat so they will sleep. they give suggestions that aren't truly recommended by standard pediatric protocols. extremely

Hands down, best daycare in the world. From day 1 the entire staff was on point and attentive to not only my son’s needs, but also our needs as parents. We changed daycares when we moved to a different area in the state and we constantly joke that our only regret about the move was that we couldn’t pick this place up and take it with us. When my son was at acorn school, I could relax because I knew for absolutely certain that he was in the BEST hands.
