Services
Our primary goal is to encourage and foster the growth of the whole child; therefore, our curriculum addresses all areas of emotional, social, physical, and intellectual development in a stimulating, playful environment. A typical day for our classes begins with a meeting, where the children discuss the day and date and the weather.
This fee will be returned if we cannot accommodate your class choice. Maple Village Preschool offers rolling admission and can accept students age 2.9 and up throughout the year. Students attending five days per week will pay full price for the three-day program and receive a 10% discount on the two-day program.
My daughter loved the year she spent at the preschool, and was well prepared to start kindergarten. My son is currently in the Green class, and asks to go to preschool every morning. He is learning his letters, and starting to understand what sounds they make and what words can be spelled with each letter.
The preschool class meets Tuesday and Thursday mornings from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. We call this the Green Class. This class gently introduces the idea of participating in a structured, social school setting. Children are eased into the process of working in groups and following instructions. There is a regular routine for each class day, with lots of flexibility for individual needs.
Meeting Time - Calendar, Weather, Counting with Barkley, discussion of the days events. Center Time - Centers are open for free play. Centers include: Housekeeping/Dramatic Play, Block Center, Sand Table, Puzzle Table, Listening Center, Library Center, Handwriting Center, Legos, Puppet Theatre, Doll House, Activity/Sensory Table, Fine Motor/Play Dough Table and Small Toy Center (Hot Wheels Cars, Brio Trains, etc.).
