CBE Early Learning Center is a preschool offering traditional daycare hours in Acton, Massachusetts. Our curriculum fosters intellectual and social-emotional growth, community-building and mutual respect, as interpreted through the lens of Jewish wisdom and values. Children are encouraged to express their interests and abilities through play, language, music and art.

The Congregation Beth Elohim Early Learning Center (CBE ELC) celebrates childhood by employing an emergent curriculum interpreted through the lens of Jewish values.
CBE Early Learning Center was lovingly established in 2013 by a group of educators, parents, and congregants who recognized the need to retain an excellent early care and education program at Congregation Beth Elohim after JCCs of Greater Boston, who had rented space from CBE for 10 years, did not renew their lease.

Congregation Beth Elohim Early Learning Center (CBE ELC) celebrates childhood by employing an emergent curriculum interpreted through the lens of Jewish values. Our program is designed to foster a love of learning by nurturing intellectual and social-emotional development, community-building, and mutual respect.
Play is central to our CBE ELC program, as we know children learn best when they are having fun. In order to foster creative expression, critical thinking, and social-emotional development, daily activities and projects are directly inspired by student interests. The day-to-day schedule is contingent upon each age group and is structured to meet the needs of all learners, stimulate curiosity, and cultivate a love of learning.
CBE Early Learning Center offers an eight-week summer play program for children aged 15 months - 5 years. Children are asked to bring a dairy or vegetarian lunch. Please be sure to include a water bottle, straw (when necessary) and appropriate utensils. CBE ELC is an allergy-aware and nut-sensitive environment.
As soon as my daughter walks into the Doobim classroom, she is ready to play! She leaves her jacket behind so quickly and literally jumps into the circle of her friends playing. Our toddler classroom is the first daycare and school experience for many of our toddlers, and our abiding goal is to help each child have joyful interactions in Doobim.

Our son began CBE Early Learning Center in January 2018. Since then, he has not only transitioned well but also grown and flourished in the short amount of time. We are grateful for the thoughtful and dedicated teachers as well as the nurturing and stimulating environment. Our son loves his teachers and the variety of activities and classes that they offer. We love the entire staff and highly recommend this preschool!

I can't say enough of about CBE ELC! My daughter has been attending for almost three years now, and my son has been there since last September. The entire staff and environment there is warm, friendly and attentive. My kids love going to school each morning and adore their teachers! The teachers are so nurturing and really do treat the children as their own. The facility is clean, spacious, sunny and well-maintained. I feel very involved with the daily HiMama email communication/updates and pictures, it's greatly comforting and appreciated!

Our son has been a student here for a few months and we couldn't be happier with CBE Early Learning Center. The teachers are warm and loving allowing him to truly flourish under their care. The teachers make learning fun and messy, which really works for our son. Every day brings new activities and new pictures shared on the HiMama app. We have learned more about the Jewish culture and our son has become more social since starting here. I can't say enough about the wonderful program and people at CBE Early Learning Center.

I can't say enough wonderful things about this loving preschool. The kids are loved and given so much attention. The space, both inside and outside, are great. They play outside frequently. As a working parent, I appreciate the options for before and after the typical "preschool" day. I have enjoyed the extra social opportunities for parents and kids and have been enriched by the opportunity to learn more about the Jewish culture which is new for our family.

All three of my kids are at ELC and we love it! The nature playground, regular playground, caring staff and fun enrichment programs have made for a unique and wonderful experience for us all. We appreciate the sense of community and events that have allowed ELC to become more than just preschool, but also a group of family friends.

Both of my children have flourished at CBE ELC and I highly recommend it for families looking for that traditional preschool experience with the bonus of daycare hours for working families. An experience, tight-knit staff and amazing indoor and outdoor spaces make ELC a terrific place for children to learn and grow.

We had a wonderful experience at CBE Early Learning Center. The teachers are fantastic and my daughters learned so much there. The indoor facilities are great and the outdoor natural playground is wonderful. We still keep in touch with many families that we met there. I highly recommend sending your children to CBE Early Learning Center!
