Positive: Professionalism
Having owned a condo for many years, I have seen a huge improvement in the appearance of the Society Hill at Hamilton complex and dramatically faster responses to any service problems or just plain communications. The professionals seem to really care about what they are doing and I feel they are doing an excellent job.

Our community , Society HIll of Hamilton, is managed by Reliance Property Management Group (RPMG) and we can not be happier or more pleased with their performance. Since Tejas’s company took over at Society Hill in Hamilton, NJ, our complex has improved immensely. He always gets back to me quickly when I have an issue or question and we are happy with all the improvements. The manager we had before was pretty much awful. Not only is the curb appeal lovely, but much needed improvements have already taken place with more to come.

As a board member thats been working with Tejas/Reliance now for a few years, I have nothing but positive things to say. Unlike other property managers, Tejas is always reachable. And he's bluntly honest with us too - our building was pretty badly out of code before we signed him. The first few months we brought him on-board, the man worked around the clock bringing us within code. The changes were a bit difficult to tolerate at first, but thats a small price to pay for the building being much safer as a result. We look forward to keeping him around for a long time to come.

We moved into our current building last year. Everything was perfect until Tejas took over the management. We now really hope that we didn't choose this building at the first place. The washer and dryer in the unit wasn't working, so we replaced it with a same model. Tejas didn't say anything when we asked for their permit to install it in the unit but now he suddenly changed the building policy and ask the dryers to be ventless. We tried to look for a work around but he is so rude and ask us to throw this almost new stacked washer and dryer away while we would otherwise still be

I'm on the board of directors for Grove Pointe Condos, a 67 unit building in downtown Jersey City. We hired RPMG in May '13 and couldn't be happier with the work Tejas and team have been doing for us.
Among many other things they have:

Since RPMG has taken over the management of the property in over a year, I have had an overall great experience. No complaints whatsoever. Find all staff to be responsive and more than willing to help when needed. They are consistent with delivering their commitment to our homeowners and residents. What I like most was how effective and different they work on a damage claim related to 2012 Sandy tropical storm incident. They work hard to resolve pending issues left from previous managers with a goal to serve and protect owners’ interest and enhance the value of the property. Well done !

Avoid dealing with Tejas at all costs. He is rude and unprofessional. He also happens to be the CEO of RPMG. When he and his counterparts asked that we expedite our security deposits and first months rent, we provided almost $10K within a day of their request. Unfortunately, the deal fell through (a month later) and we didn't get the unit we were waiting for. Tejas seemed very annoyed by our requests on the status of returning our money. He eventually shut down and refused to answer emails. When we finally got to speak with him on the phone, he was ridiculously rude and even hung up on us
