Now in its third generation, Cartmell-Davis Funeral Home is an independent family-owned and operated funeral home. The firm is owned and operated by Kathy Cartmell Sirrico and John J. Vincent, Jr. who joined the firm in 1995. Funeral Service during a pandemic is very tough. In addition the weather included gale force winds and heavy rain. Cartmell-Davis and John Vincent did an extraordinary job. We had a small outside service. They did a beautiful job with their celebration of life approach. They produced a loverly trifold of our mother, bookmarks with her photo and a poem and preprinted thank you cards. The tent was erected in the cemetery and they handled every request including placement of 30 poinsettias. They could not have been more accommodating. Staff was highly professional. The singer was superb under trying

I have to see that Cartmell funeral home made a very difficult task very easy. I just lost my wife of 23 years and turned to Cartmell to make the arrangements due to previous very positive experiences with them. Mary was exceptional at helping me through the process. She was spot on in every way. She was very helpful ,informative and compassionate. And I must all so must mention Kathi she was extremely helpful as well. I have already told my son this is where I wish to go when my time comes. Their team made the entire experience much easier. This is a top notch Funeral Home.

I want to thank the wonderful people at Cartmell Davis funeral home for the fantastic job they did at my wife’s memorial.They did more than anyone could have expected.They put pictures of my wife on every page of the sign in book.They made us thank you notes with her pictures on them.Its all the little added touches that made this special and I can’t thank them enough.They were a pleasure to work with during this difficult time for all. The entire team at Cartmell-Davis did a wonderful job with my mother's arrangements. What a nice surprise it was to see the beautiful personalized guest book, the place mats, the puzzle, the brochures, etc. It was all so beautifully done and it made the day very special. I could not put into words how thankful my family and I are for the staff at Cartmell-Davis. My mother passing away unexpectedly in Florida and wanting to have her services in Plymouth created an overwhelming sense of stress in the middle of such pain and grief. My family went to Cartmell when my Nana passed away last year. They were professional and compassionate. I would highly recommend them for any funeral services needed including pre-planning, calling hours (wake), Church ceremony and graveside burial that we use when saying goodbye to our special family member. Kathy, Dan and John treated our family like their own and it still gives my family comfort knowing we put my Nana in the best of hands.

Dan and his family walked us through every step as we laid my beloved Mom to rest. My family has used Cartmell Funeral Home several times over the years. Kathy and her team are kind, compassionate, and make things go as smoothly as possible, during a difficult time. Their facilities are top-notch, and there are so many options to truly make services just what you and/or your loved one wanted.
