While still living in her native Russia, Elena spent more than 35 years as a professional chef cook and baker in a variety of restaurants. Her list of recipes has expanded since then, especially after moving to the US. Elena started by cooking and baking for friends and family, then her passion inspired her to start her own business in Columbus, OH.

One of my favorite breakfast spots in Columbus. Great selection of "international" (Russian, British, Mediterranean, etc.) themed breakfast plates. A good variety of excellent crepes. Also, the service is warm, friendly, and very accommodating. And don't forget desserts. The pastries and cakes are excellent!

This is a god place to go for breakfast or brunch. But go in a small group. Limited sitting area and staff won’t like if you are sitting there sipping over coffee for longer time.
Secondly if you are in hurry pls don’t consider this place. Service is really slow!
Went here with 2 friends and I do t think we ordered something out of the world but they took 40 minutes to get our dishes on the table.

Came here to support a local business. My husband asked for something that wasn’t in the menu and they accommodated and it was great. The candied bacon is amazing. I had the California frittata, it was really good. Keep in mind if you order a skillet item it will take longer than the other items. The service was ok but not super. Which is why 4 stars and not 5. Otherwise this is a place to try out. The decor was cute and bright. They had a case of sweet treats, I so wanted to get something but after the giant breakfast I had to pass. Will be back to try out lunch!

This is a good place to grab breakfast/brunch during the week or on the weekends. I think their menu is excellent. They touch on a few breakfast plates from different parts of the world (in the most American way possible). Their pancakes (and crepes if you prefer) all look amazing. Coming from somebody who isn't big on bacon, I really enjoyed their candied bacon. Portions are quite generous for meals/sides and they have a case of cakes/desserts to tempt you on your way out. From both carryout and dine-in experience, they seemed a little flustered and behind on orders. There was room for improvement

This was my first time stopping in at Cafe Elena since the lockdown kept me inside and it was great! I had the Bacon Jam Burger and the Russian Dumplings. The burger was perfectly cooked and topped with delicious bacon jam and blue cheese along with tomato and arugula all on a brioche bun! Delicious! The Russian Dumplings were simple ground beef dumplings made in house and served with sour cream... really tasty! The fresh decor and attentive staff top off the experience to be A+. I highly recommend stopping in for some food.

We have been there two times and really like their breakfast. Have a variety of breakfast dishes and is a really good place if you want to try something new for breakfast.
The terrible service is a huge problem in this place. I hope they fix this issue and hire more staff.
1) every time that they bring you plate you need to make sure it has everything that it is supposed to have. They missed avocados, toasts, jam, blueberries in our plates only in two visits. We had to check the menu again and ask them about those missing items so they bring it
