Crim Festival Of Races
Summer Running Clubs provide engagement and physical activity for youth around Genesee County, and we are therefore very excited to get back to in-person meetings with our young runners. Everyday. This program is designed for the individual who is looking to expand or continue their path to a healthy lifestyle, all year long.

The Crim staff has put together a library of virtual educational programming for you to share with the youth in your life. The little things? The little moments? They aren't so little. Join us to learn ways to grow as a mindful leader in your family, neighborhood, and wider community. Finding the right balance between activity and diet is something that we've been focused on to help the community live a healthier lifestyle.
Services
Flint's successful Community Education model is back! Designed to meet the needs of today's families, students, and residents. Flint's Community Education Initiative offers key services and resources in Flint, allowing schools to once again become the hub of neighborhoods. Programs and services are located at all Flint Community Schools and International Academy of Flint.
Mindfulness is a basic human capacity that everyone can cultivate to support health, humanity and performance. Mindfulness supports health and well-being for all. The Crim Fitness Foundation convenes our community's Mindfulness Initiative, known as Healthy, Mindful Flint. Programming launched in 2012 as a small pilot project.
An advisory board co-chaired by Dr. Bobby Mukkamala and Dr. Mona Hanna-Attisha provides leadership, guidance, and medical expertise to ensure the efficacy and impact of this work. Local leadership provided by community members in the health, business, civic, community and education sector. Evaluation efforts led by Dr. Julia Felton of Michigan State University/Henry Ford Health Systems.
We envision Genesee County as a safe and active community with equitable access to opportunity. Our mission is to advocate for and support policy, systems and environment change that creates equitable access to safe opportunities to be physically active throughout Flint and Genesee County. At the Crim Fitness Foundation, we recognize that health is influenced by many factors.
In August of 1977, Michigan House Speaker Bobby Crim and his assistant Lois Craig launched the first Bobby Crim 10 Mile Road Race. Little did they know that they were embarking on a journey that would change the City of Flint forever! In the years since those first days as a race organization, the Crim Fitness Foundation has evolved into a highly regarded 501(c) 3 non-profit organization impacting the lives of thousands.

This race is a must do!! There is so much energy throughout the entire course.
Only downside is the volume of the band that plays post race. They have it so loud making it impossible to converse with fellow racers.
