We want to train and get you ready as much as possible for real life altercations on the street. No fancy techniques here. You will learn to fight and defend yourself in all ranges, (kickboxing, clinch and ground). We use progressive resistance in our training. This means we spar and test our abilities against a resisting attacker.
This is one of the most important parts of our school. It's great learning a technique, but trying to apply that technique under pressure is another story. We blend everything from empty hand fighting, multiple attackers, empty hand vs. knife/stick, knife/stick vs knife/stick and gun threats. Fitness is a natural component to learning any type of martial arts or self defense system.

Services
This program is a combination of JKD Unlimited, Silat, Kali, BJJ and Krav Maga. We will work basic strikes, clinch and ground with a strong emphasis on weapons defense to include blades, blunt objects and firearms. JKD Unlimited: Striking and self defense in all ranges. Kali: Working with blunt and bladed objects, how to use them and how to defend against them.

An excellent class that fits well into a working-person's schedule. While my wife and I hope we are never in a situation where we need to exercise our fighting acumen, should a situation present itself, we are more confident on our 1st, 2nd, and 3rd moves to protect ourselves....and feel good about defeating the opponent. My wife and I took the class as a new way to work-out, and found equal enjoyment in how the class improved our awareness and fighting/defense skills. Also, it's nice that we enjoy the company of our classmates - we are constantly supporting and helping each other improve. Overall
