As we were planning the vision of our hair studio, we received the amazing opportunity to sit across the table from one the most respected salon owners in this industry, and who was a great friend and inspiring mentor, Frank Warner (Frank Anthony Salon & Spa). Frank asked us a very simple question that single handedly changed the way we would view and operate our Hair Studio.
He said Why. Why should people choose you? We left that day knowing that this challenge Frank had brought to us was not a one time answer, but an indefinite one that holds industry professionals accountable. Prices reflect - Designer / Advanced Designer / Elite Designer / Lead Designer / Danielle. Please note, any Creative Trend Services will require a consultation and pricing will be quoted prior to service. All HAIRCUTS pricing includes a Blow Out service. Prices subject to change without notice. Hair Studios are not safe places for babies and children.
We are located on the right side of the lower half of Bloomfield Ave, which is off of Main Street in Flemington, NJ. From our front door to the end of the street there are 8 2-hour street parking spots that are almost always available. If for some reason those are full, there is a town parking lot that is directly across from us.
Our culture is founded on one mission. To love and serve people through artisan. Our goal is to provide and create exceptionally tailored hair designs to our clients. We are able to achieve this for a few reasons, our main goal being the life of CUT, our highly educated and professional Hair Designers.

I gave this salon three attempts. They go through staff frequently. I worked with different people each time and their cuts and color proved inexperienced. Worst haircuts and color I have ever had. My last visit was awful. I made sure to call and requested a stylist who had experience with razor cutting, I was assured that she did. Went for my apt day of and sat in the chair to consult first. I Tell the girl that I want my hair razor cut and thinned out a bit, she says okay. Takes me to get washed, mid wash I ask her her plans for the weekend. Her response, "I'm going to a class training

I absolutely love my hair after starting to go here. My hair is healthy and I always walk out with more than I could have asked for. It doesn’t matter how much money you go spend on clothes or make up, when your hair isn’t something you love, nothing really looks how you truly want it to. I am so thankful I have found this salon! Every service I have gotten here has been professional, enjoyable, and I get results better than I could have ever expected! Their kindness, welcoming atmosphere, and obvious skills make me feel like I am good hands- I trust the wonderful people at CUT to do a great job everytime. Won't get my hair cut anywhere else. All staff are trendy and professional. Very friendly, always give you exactly what you need. They also have all their professional certifications on display, which are updated annually for every style and technique you can think of. Complimentary barista service provided by Hardy's nextdoor.

Such a cute, modern salon attached to a coffee shop with same owners. They give you a free drink with your services. I LOVE my rejuvenated blonde hair that was way overdue for some color. My only suggestion would be to prepare to spend more than the average salon. I paid $300 (plus tip and a hair product) for a full foil highlight (olaplex and toner were 50 together), not including a cut. While I had the owner do my hair and knew she cost more based on her experience, I usually pay about $150-200 for a full highlight/cut. Overall, I love love love my hair, but be prepared to pay a bit more and

After trying 5 or 6 area hair salons in the last few years, I thought I would never get a cut where I could duplicate the style. My hair just never looked good except when I was leaving the salon. At CUT, Julianne cut my hair and it's been about 6 weeks now and I have found it so easy to style. She really listens and I have gotten many compliments on the cut-after I styled it! I went to this salon to get balayage, I was clear with my stylist Julianne what I wanted and showed her picture of the desired balayage. The job was horrible ended up with 3 tones in my hair plus spotty and uneven hair. Had to go back 2 times to fix it but end up cover it all with one color and going home with not what I originally wanted. I'm really disappointed and will not return to this salon.

The shop feels like a NYC salon in our small town of Flemington. The girls are top notch from the receptionist on ... I started going to Danielle and loved her cuts !! Then my schedule was getting harder and I met with Julianne, who I love ! I have also had Lauren too ! The girls are great really.. you can't go wrong with any of them. They are constantly going fir advanced training too ! So they are always on trend and bettering themselves for us ! Julianne is my hair designer and I will refer her to anyone ! She really listens

Love this place! Tonight I got my first haircut from here and I was so impressed! So many personal touches! I got a quick tour from the apprentice and he explained a bit about the products they use and the education the stylists receive. Then I was taken to my seat which had a little desk with an iPad on it for me to play with plus a bottle of water and two chocolates. Oh and my name written out on a small chalkboard. I have lived in the Flemington area for years, but just recently came across this salon. Definitely check it out! The salon is so cute and they really make you feel welcomed- from the warm greeting at the front desk, to an iPad, chocolates, water & even a little chalkboard with your name at your station. I stopped coming here after being a twice-a-month customer for over a year. My hair stylist was Lauren who is fantastic. But I just couldn't take the customer service from their receptionists anymore. First they change their pricing without informing me until after services were performed. Then for over a year they kept spelling my name wrong. While this salon has an amazing atmosphere, I am not satisfied the level of expertise of the staff. I came here for a color correction after a previous salon dyed my hair several shades too dark. As someone with no experience coloring hair, I was at the mercy of my stylist. Unfortunately, the procedure I was recommended did not give me anything close to the results I had asked for, and has left me with very unevenly colored hair.

I went to this salon after reading stellar reviews on Yelp, Facebook, and seeing their work on Instagram. I've been hopping between salons for a few years now, looking for one to commit to and was pretty positive it would be this salon after my extensive research.

LITERALLY the best salon ever! Danielle is an amazing stylist! I am always in love with my hair cut!She always has me walking away with beautiful hair! The atmosphere is awesome and so friendly. Julianne is great. What a talent! She rescued my hair from overprocessed weirdness. Also, big fan of the chocolate they offer you! I didn't use the iPad but I love that it was there. And your name on the chalkboard is really a cool touch. I am primarily based in Brooklyn and Los Angeles, and I can truly say that the experience here was more like being at a boutique hotel than a salon. Also, I was running a little late due to a little accident (nothing major) so I called ahead and they checked and were able to still fit me in...definitely call ahead if something comes up, just to be polite

Finally tried CUT after years of getting my hair simply "buzzed". It was a great experience from the friendly greeting the moment I walked in the door, to the detail of a straight razor shave on the back of my neck.

CUT is the first hair studio I have been to where I have left happy every single time. I unfortunately live 6 hours away and am only able to go when I visit my family who lives nearby. They are super busy and always booked, but as long as I call or request an appointment online a few weeks in advance I have never had a problem getting in - and they have always tried to squeeze me in if they can.
I always get compliments on my hair and I love that Danielle listens to what I want and actually does it! I've been to several salons in big cities and spent triple to quadruple what CUT charges

Love Danielle and Peach! Unfortunately I moved to the south 2 years ago and haven't found anywhere to match the quality of cut or service that you receive when you walk through the door of CUT. I still go to Danielle whenever I am home.
Better show up on time though (probably early) cause Danielle is usually booked. If you show up late and expect the same service you are saying your time is more important than all her other clients. Plus side- if you show up early they have custom chocolate for you from the Fudge Shop! Yum!
