Services
Our family farm is in the sixth generation, this is a family-owned-and-operated business. The late June and Esther Oehler were the last owners. Now, operated by Donnie & Susie Oehler's family, the farm still has beef cows and calves, chickens and ducks, turkeys, guineas, mallard ducks, peacocks, Canadian geese, and goats.
This is a family-owned-and-operated business. We like people to come to enjoy the food and good clean, wholesome fun. We do not lease the Barn for private parties unless we cater the meal. Our prices range from $20.00 to $35.00, depending on the menu the customer selects. Catering at the Barn should be for 100 or more but not to exceed 5,000.
A log building, called the Hay Loft Wedding Chapel, is decorated and ready to use as-is. It overlooks a lake. Also, downstairs in the basement of the Hay Loft, is a large cedar panel room, set up with tables and chairs available for smaller parties such as small wedding reception of 75 and under. This room can be used the day of the wedding to get ready and dress.
Cost - $35.00 per person plus 8.25% food tax. Hamburgers and Hot Dogs and are served with all Condiments, as well as Tomatoes, Lettuce, Chips, Baked Beans, two types of Slaw, Rolls, Pickles, Applesauce, Desserts listed above and Drinks listed above. Cost - $21.00 per person, plus 8.25 % food tax. You must choose the hour you want the meal served and inform your party of this.
We have a softball field, volleyball courts, horseshoes, fishing, hayrides, ping-pong, pool table, farm animals, jukebox, and stereo system and Bon Fires too. The Barn has a stage, which is built like the back porch of an old house. We teach and call old-timey square dances. We also teach some line dances such as The Electric Slide, Cha-Cha, Cupid Shuffle, and more of the latest to the greatest.

Hands down my favorite bbq and Brunswick stew every! I look forward to this event every year and even take off work for it. The proceeds go to support a good cause and all the volunteers are super friendly. Your choices include a bbq plate, this consists of chopped bbq, slaw, apple sauce and Brunswick stew, or a bbq sandwich with the option of a purchasing a pint of stew. To go orders are also able to be placed and there's a drive through setup with several lanes to keep things moving as quickly as possible. This is a major event each year, and even more so during an election year as many
