Dr. Allan S. Mohr graduated from the New York University College of Dentistry in 1983. He opened his private practice here in Massapequa Park, NY in 1986, placing an emphasis on providing cosmetic dentistry, restorative dentistry, and implant dentistry.
Since then, he has worked diligently to refine his skill-set every year by attending countless hours of continuing education, including completing coursework at two of the most well-known postgraduate training centers in all of dentistry: the Dawson Academy and the Pankey Institute.He has lectured extensively at local and national meetings on topics ranging from esthetic dentistry to conservative restorative dentistry.

The quality of work, standard of care and overall experience with Dr. Mohr was exceptional. I travelled in from Manhattan after Dr. Mohr came recommended to me by a friend, and I am glad I did. The attention to detail and customisation throughout the cosmetic process was incredible. Beyond the work itself, Nicole, Donna, Becky, Rosie, Ruthann and the rest of the team made me feel relaxed and comfortable from the start. The whole office has a great family feel to it. I’ve wanted to have the perfect smile for years, and Dr. Mohr and his team made that possible in such a short period of time! For years I've been going back and forth on whether I should get advanced dental work done for my teeth. Once I met Dr. Mohr and his incredible staff I knew I found the right place for what I was looking for. My wife and I started using Dr. Mohr this past spring. Thinking she needed new veneers my wife searched online for a dentist who specialized in cosmetic dentistry, she found an expert! She needed much more than veneers and, having dental anxiety from past experiences, was very nervous about the amount of work that needed to be done. His team is very welcoming and Dr.Mohr himself is honest in telling you what you need and was not pushy. He is a true artist, a perfectionist in what he does. I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Mohr and his entire staff! I just had extensive cosmetic work done ( porcelain crowns to most of my upper teeth) and it was an amazing experience. Dr. Mohr was honest and thorough during his consultation. I’ve had many compliments even when I just had the temporary crowns on! The entire staff is lovely and gracious, especially Nikki and Rosie who always made me feel comfortable and at home. My whole experience was pain free, a pleasure and I am thrilled with the results!
