Many people looking for counseling or help "look" for a while until they are ready to make a commitment. It is hard for many people to believe that what they are going through or suffering from is treatable.

Dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) is an evidence-based psychotherapy and type of cognitive-behavioral therapy originally developed by Marsha Linehan, PhD to treat individuals with borderline personality disorder, self-harming behaviors and suicidal behaviors. Since its development in the late 1980s, DBT has been adapted to other populations including adolescents and families, individuals with substance use disorders, and mood disorders.
A. Psychological testing is a three-step process in which the client does an initial intake, completes assessments, and then obtains the report. The initial evaluation entails of sitting down and talking over basic background information. This includes going over current medications, providers, prior diagnoses, current concerns and any other vital information.
In all trauma treatments, informed consent is key. For many that have suffered a trauma or multiple complex traumas and are ready to begin treatment, they need to be fully aware of what the trauma treatment options are. Any treatment for trauma can be challenging and increase one's natural anxiety level.
And complete the form. It will ask for your name and email to enter into the document. Complete the referral form and a copy link will be sent to your email for the patient's chart. I had counseling with Katelyn and it changed my life. Her personality is so friendly and meshed with me perfectly. She looked at my issues with a critical eye and gave me tools that I still use every day, and it’s been several years since I’ve needed her. She’s so detail-oriented and thorough, I needed it. Thank you for everything

In our experience the therapist’s level of quality is excellent, but you should really pay close attention to how this practice bills you. Their practice manager does not seem legitimate. They billed me full cost for all of my daughters visits, sent me absolutely no paperwork explaining the costs, billed my insurance as well, and provided a fraudulent explanation as to why they over-billed me by 400.00. Still trying to get my money back. Do not use this practice. If you do, pay close attention to your wallet. Their patient portal does not show billing history. This is a red flag I should have

I wish that I would have read the reviews before I went. Someone mentioned that it is not a warm environment and that is absolutely true. I went to 1 DBT class and the mood/feeling of the group was not good. I signed a contract under the impression that there were day and night classes. Well that is not the case, only nights. When I called to cancel I left a message that I wasn’t going to come tonight and call me back. Without them even knowing the circumstances they automatically sent back a text that I would be charged 89.00. For a company to do that on the first time without even talking to

Don’t recommend this place as the receptionists are pretty stuck up and rude .
I made an appointment for 1 o clock and had this written down and I get a call a couple days before my appointment to remind me about the appointment only to hear that my appointment was actually at 2 o clock and to show up at 1:30 because this would be my first time so I need to do paper work. Come in at 1:30 and off the bat telling me I came at the wrong time and I explained that I got a call from a lady telling me the time to come in and my appointment time and she was there denying she told me 2 o clock when she

My son has some serious psychologic issues. He was told he would require intensive DBT treatment to ameliorate them. We were given this office as a source. He called and was told there would be a three month wait. We occasionally called and phone calls were not returned. Finally, after three months, he was told that they would rather not have him as a patient and was given the name of another mental health facility. This office should NOT have strung him along like that. When people need help, they should either supply that help or not. To string a patient with mental health disorders along like
